Interesting analogy being presented in the last video âJoker tried to warn usâ
Its kind of where we are at. On the abyss of nothingness and revolt at the same time.
Joker was a great movie and is Phoenixâs best performances ever IMO.
Hollywood is all about projection.
AI, Nuclear Explosions, The Great uprisings, Silent Invasion, The Hunger Games (again) etc.
Just like the John Wick Series, I suppose tying up loose ends is the new trend In Hollywood franchises.
I watched this one last night and have to say it was good. Blue print for low budget success.
Harrison Ford should have known when to retire 'Indiana Jones" but instead looking to cash in one more time, he instead humiliates himself with this piece of Hollywood trash!
This film is the top grossing film since itâs release, and it is amusing to see all the mainstream media pundits attacking it mercilessly. What are they afraid of?
One of cinemaâs most powerful scenes occurs in a film many might disregard due to its genre. In âThe Outlaw Josey Wales,â a man trying to rebuild his war-shattered life, rides out to face a Comanche chieftain.
Josey: You be Ten Bears?
Ten Bears: I am Ten Bears.
Josey: Iâm Josey Wales.
Ten Bears: I have heard. Youâre the Gray Rider. You would not make peace with the Blue Coats. You may go in peace.
Josey: I reckon not. Got nowhere to go.
Ten Bears: Then you will die.
Josey: I came here to die with you. Or, live with you. Dying ainât so hard for men like you and me, itâs living thatâs hard; when all you ever cared about has been butchered or raped. Governments donât live together, people live together. With governments, you donât always get a fair word or a fair fight. Well, Iâve come here to give you either one or get either one from you. I came here like this so youâll know my word of death is true. And that my word of life is then true. The bear lives here, the wolf, the antelope, the Comanche. And so will we. Now, weâll only hunt what we need to live on, the same as the Comanche does. And every spring when the grass turns green and the Comanche moves north, we can rest here in peace, butcher some of our cattle, and jerk beef for the journey. The sign of the Comanche, that will be on our lodge. Thatâs my word of life.
Ten Bears: And your word of death?
Josey: Itâs here in my pistols, there in your rifles . . . Iâm here for either one.
Ten Bears: These things you say we will have, we already have.
Josey: Thatâs true. I ainât promising you nothing extra. Iâm just giving you life and youâre giving me life. And Iâm saying that men can live together without butchering one another.
Ten Bears: Itâs sad that governments are chiefed by the double-tongues. There is iron in your word of death for all Comanche to see. And so there is iron in your word of life. No signed paper can hold the iron, it must come from men. The word of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life . . . or death. It shall be life.
Josey Wales:
Now remember, things look bad and it looks like youâre not gonna make it, then you gotta get mean. I mean plumb, mad-dog mean. 'Cause if you lose your head and you give up then you neither live nor win. Thatâs just the way it is.
The latest production in this franchise is getting 3 star reviews just when Hollywood is going on strike.
Another movie that is soon to hit theaters is Napoleon, which is played by Joaquin Phoenix. This guy who usually does commentary on Ukraine and Russian Military strategies is funny and insightful enough to give an honest review on the latest trailer release. Not his first time doing this.
Official Trailer
The reason why this particular is a highly anticipated one is because its Ridley Scottâs latest directed film and he is known to be a stalwart for details, so it will be interesting to see what this film actually look like in its entirety after its official release.
But so far first impressions are mixed.
Here is another analysis History professor Jared Frederick offers some insights on the direction the film may take.
