Plastics don’t have to be painted, the plastics are colored when made.
To be colored you need paint, dye, ergo I was correct and I have the last word. 
No you don’t, you just need the right mix of precursor chemicals that react and produce the appropriate color when the plastic is injected and molded.
Very few plastics are colorless, in fact virtually none.

If robots didn’t cost less and increase production (and consistent quality) there wouldn’t be so many of them.
Building and maintaining robots require human labor.
It’s a WIN-WIN situation.
All it takes to appreciate the use of robots is to watch one episode of How It’s Made: Dream Cars
I’m not arguing otherwise. There is still however a cost to buying and maintaining them. In most cases though they are far more efficient and cost effective than human labor and they are never late, never fail to show up to work, and if they break down can usually be replaced in a few minutes.
