What a stupid video.
I wouldn’t be worried about catching Covid at all if I could just jump into a helicopter and be taken to a premier medical center to be treated by a dedicated team of top doctors for whom I’d be their most important patient, and receive doses of the latest, most highly monitored drug regimens. Especially if A) I was infected, if at all, by a tiny viral load, or B) was infected after a highly likely course of prophylactic convalescent plasma.
On the other hand, looking at the hunreds of thousands of dead Covid patients, I am worried that my chances will be far higher of dying than one D. Trump, given that I’ll be a Medicare part B patient in a harried and underfunded floor of a very impersonal medical setting that has no more motivation to save me than any other human.

I continue to be vexed by the amount of “not the biggest deal” thinking about Covid-19 among even purportedly smart people. Even the young and healthy have provided countless case studies of how bad lingering effects can be, the complications it seems like are still being discovered and studied daily, and yet people think that a decline in morbidity and new medicines and vaccines which are by no means guaranteed or effective means they can back off being careful and go right back to riskier behaviors. I wish such people luck. I’ll curb my lifestyle if that’s what it takes to improve my and others’ chances and my mindset is this is Stalingrad, so, I’ll relax when the Nazis are nothing but pitiful scattered bands and not a day before.
As for Trump, I expect that one way or another this has shortened his life yet again. And his rank stupidity means that if he does events or really does go out on the trail, he may meet a quite cinematically dark end.
Trump wants you to believe that he got Covid from the relatives of suckers and losers rather than at the Saturday Superspreader event in the Rose Garden where everybody else came down with it.
He’s drugged up, bigly. His face is less baggy, a little tighter. He’s been actually walking rather than trudging like someone heading to the gallows. He looks less defeated.
My guess is it’s the "dex’ in the dexamethasone. Then again, it might be the ‘meth’ in the dexamethasone. The puppet masters have decided to shoot him up and push him out there for a last desperate go-round. He’s fucked and there’s no farewell tour.
They will still vote for his obese rotting orange corpse.
Treatments like Regeneron, ie monoclonal antibody cocktails, will never be accessible to any but the wealthiest or most influential, because of the pipeline delays and raw material shortages. Maybe in a matter of, literally, years, we may be able to ramp up production, but unless we kneecap big Pharma the price in the USA will be quadruple the reasonable, worldwide average.
Trump is very lucky. He is likely to be luckier than most patients his age. That’s a tip of the hat to our health care providers, but it’s 90% luck, 10% new treatments.
I’m curious and suspicious of your motives here. Is it to celebrate Trump’s amazing management of Covid treatment? Because anybody with the brains of a depraved squirrel knows that the biggest fact about Trump and Covid is that he is responsible for the premature and wrongful death of over 150,000 Americans. These are people gone forever, unfairly as if they were shot on the street. Blowing smoke about “cures” won’t change that fact, or remove that knowledge from our minds.
