Tanks mowing down protesters, armed rebellion, cops and soldiers being beaten to death in the streets so their weapons can be seized and used against others.
We haven’t really seen anything serious to this point.

Doc was simply pointing out that when violence begins to close in on you it raises your self and situational awareness, something he’s dealing with currently in HK.
