It’s not going to wipe out boomers and it’s not going to cause the collapse of the gov’t much less a world wide meltdown with millions of dead.
It’s a really bad cold that tends to kill most who contract it if they are over eighty and in poor health.
80% who contract it won’t get seriously ill and only about 10-15% who get it will need to be hospitalized.

Background: An outbreak of 2019 novel coronavirus diseases (COVID-19) in Wuhan, Hubei Province, China has spread quickly nationwide. Here, we report results of a descriptive, exploratory analysis of all cases diagnosed as of February 11, 2020.
Methods: All COVID-19 cases reported through February 11, 2020 were extracted from China’s Infectious Disease Information System. Analyses included the following: 1) summary of patient characteristics; 2) examination of age distributions and sex ratios; 3) calculation of case fatality and mortality rates; 4) geo-temporal analysis of viral spread; 5) epidemiological curve construction; and 6) subgroup analysis.
Results: A total of 72,314 patient records—44,672 (61.8%) confirmed cases, 16,186 (22.4%) suspected cases, 10,567 (14.6%) clinically diagnosed cases (Hubei Province only), and 889 asymptomatic cases (1.2%)—contributed data for the analysis. Among confirmed cases, most were aged 30–79 years (86.6%), diagnosed in Hubei (74.7%), and considered mild (80.9%). A total of 1,023 deaths occurred among confirmed cases for an overall case fatality rate of 2.3%. The COVID-19 spread outward from Hubei Province sometime after December 2019, and by February 11, 2020, 1,386 counties across all 31 provinces were affected. The epidemic curve of onset of symptoms peaked around January 23–26, then began to decline leading up to February 11. A total of 1,716 health workers have become infected and 5 have died (0.3%).
Conclusions: COVID-19 epidemic has spread very quickly taking only 30 days to expand from Hubei to the rest of Mainland China. With many people returning from a long holiday, China needs to prepare for the possible rebound of the epidemic.

The key phrase that stuck out to me the most was: “the Coronavirus, the Chinese did this to the rest of world!” Think about that for a moment! That is a huge statement in of itself that places the blame on them and only them.
Also the second point he is assuredly going to be right about is the fact that the global trade balance is never going to be the same again and will be vastly different once the dust settles on this crisis.
Third: the comparisons of Wilson’s admin in how they dealt with the Spanish influenza and their ineptitude to be pro active to prevent more deaths is a message he is advocating to this admin to learn from history and to do more to contain this outbreak from getting worse. In other words Tucker is doing a great service to us by voicing such messages to the President directly when the rest of the media is too busy trying to divide the country on stupid petty social issues. This effects everyone and should be a non partisan issue! No politics!
Lastly, I really don’t think Trump and the admin are aloof to what an opportunity this presents (as a gift wrapped in a pretty bow) to using this as causality for more decoupling from the unholy alliance that we have with China and to make a case to invest more in our manufacturing. I would also imagine the shifts world wide are looking to do the same as travel restrictions become more frequent.
China is seriously feeling the brunt of this economically and the one who is responsible already had his head chopped off and incinerated in secret. (Figuratively speaking)
But these latest numbers is very telling regarding Chinese exports dropping drastically and the impact that this virus is having on the global economy is astronomical, billions of lost revenue!
On the latter and why this will seriously damage China in the long run is the fact they demonstrated publicly to the rest of the world they can not be trusted. This last part of course is something we knew all along but now given the optics on the world stage has exposed them to the sunlight to many who were simply indifferent, but when something affects the simplest commoner from putting food on the table their anger gets directed somewhere and that somewhere is the CHICOMS but also China in general.
