Just wait until next month. The rate of infection is doubling per day and pretty soon we are all going to have it. It’s not the happening we wanted but it’s the happening we need.

No it isn’t. The community spread rate remains 2:1 and here at least we’re doing a good job of identifying the clusters and getting patients and potential carriers into quarantine.
If not for starting the travel restrictions early we would be in a whole so deep it would have gotten completely out of hand already.
Becoming so dependent on China for critical manufacturing is a national embarrassment and National Security Threat bordering on a Natinonal Emergency.
If we don’t learn anything but that from this event hopefully we do learn it and start bringing our manufacturing sector back to the US.
I think that has been a real eye opener for the Americans who are paying attention. Maybe even other countries that have been outsourcing as well.
Tucker is correct: globalism like the lefties want is a policy of disaster. I hope this comes back to bite them in the ass and people start to wake up. For the lefties though, they will defend it to the end.
Senator Hawley introduced a Bill to address this, but I don’t think it goes far enough and it seems really weak. We need to bring this manufacturing back to the United States. I’d go so far as to say we need to take the leading role in compounds, etc. and competitive in the marketplace.
The Medical Supply Chain Security Act will:
- Require that manufacturers report imminent or forecasted shortages of life-saving or life-sustaining medical devices to the FDA just as they currently do for pharmaceutical drugs. This new information on devices would be added to the FDA’s annual report to Congress on drug shortages.
- Allow the FDA to expedite the review of essential medical devices that require pre-market approval in the event of an expected shortage reported by a manufacturer.
- Give new authority to the FDA to request information from manufacturers of essential drugs or devices regarding all aspects of their manufacturing capacity, including sourcing of component parts, sourcing of active pharmaceutical ingredients, use of any scarce raw materials, and any other details the FDA deems relevant to assess the security of the U.S. medical product supply chain.

The elite always wanted “global economy” by erasing national borders and making China the manufacturing center.
However, the elite don’t want China to become too powerful politically, so they fire a warning shot with this virus.
The elite know the virus is not as deadly as the mass media make it sound like. The dust will settle.

What you don’t understand if this goes the way of China in USA it will be much worse than little fights in Costco.
