You would know seeing that’s how you base your perspectives on.

That’s up to you. You are free to do so. I will not… and I should be free not to do so if I wish. I’m betting that if I want to go back to work, that decision will be made for me, regardless of how I feel about it.

Do you know that you have a 99.8% chance of surviving the Ronahoax - which means there is more chance you will be hit by lightning

Yes, but I do not live in a bubble. I have family and friends, clients, strangers at the grocery store, that I interact with as a part of life.

Like it or not, our actions and decisions affect others

Was it called a CV19 death? It had to be… everything is these days.

On a serious note: I’m sorry to hear of his death.

How does my decision to decline the vaxx affect anyone except me?

You clearly don’t know how vaccines work. You are free to decline it, but vaccines are only effective at stomping out disease if a large enough chunk of the population takes them

So if everyone who takes the vaccine is safe/protected why should they care abt the ppl who don’t take it

They don’t even know whether it prevents transmission

Not everyone is narcissistic

It’s not narcissistic to want freedom of choice.
If I don’t prevent you from taking the vax why do you think you have the right to make me take it.

When are you getting vaccinated?
Don’t forget to keep us posted.

While they will prevent life-threatening infection, none of the three working vaccines has proven they can stave off the virus altogether.

The same goes for preventing spread, meaning it is possible for someone with the virus to remain asymptomatic but capable of spreading the disease to others.

That’s why it’s a good idea to have doctors go on strike.

And the most egregious actions are the lockdowns which have adversely affected the whole planet.
Many more ppl will die from suicide, undetected cancers, cancelled elective surgery not to mention the psychological damage to our children and the trashed hospitality industries - NOW THAT REALLY IS FUCKING NARCISSISTIC…

That would require a large chunk of the population trusting in said vaccine. I’m really not averse to getting it, I just need more time to see the longer effects of it before I will get it. This was seriously rushed into service, regardless of what party or person was/is responsible for it. I’ll just wait and see.

Me to, I wanna see 10 years of historical data on side-effects before I’ll even think abt it

I don’t think many people actually like the lock downs. You listed some very real consequences of them. Personally, I think we could have a similar effect on the spread by taking precautions in our daily lives instead of just holing up.

There are too many people that think it’s all a hoax and don’t take the necessary precautions, so the numbers go up, hospitals fill up, and governors feel like they need to do something about it so they order a lock down.

Okay… I don’t think it’s a hoax, in so far as “it isn’t real” type of thing. The hoax is what is being perpetrated on the world… and especially the USA… in order to get the entire populous under control and depending on the nanny state for sustenance. That is where I personally, draw the line.

There is no need for lock downs and the utter destruction of lives for a virus with a 98+% survival rate. I know older people are at risk, as are those with co-morbidities. They can stay home and do whatever is needed for them to remain safe. The rest of us should be be back to work getting this country and economy back on the rails.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t jibe with the main reason for this “hoax”.

I agree about the need to get the economy back.

What do you propose they do when hospitals begin reaching full capacity?
