It’s in India now.

This isn’t likely to get near as bad as the 1918 Flu pandemic but the death rate so far is about 40x that of the common flu and it seems to be spreading at a similar rate.

The total death toll before it’s over may not be enormous but the economic costs are going to be staggering.

No, I think they’ve more than confirmed the human to human transmission theory with all of the prior studies.

Nothing to see here…

Wait. What’s this? We aren’t going trust the Chinese on this? We are told to trust them on everything we buy from them, so what’s so special here?

Globalism has really always been just one major pandemic away from complete political failure. When +3% of your friends and family die from a disease that came from the otherside of the world, everyone is gonna be wanting answers and talking about globalist conspiracies.

The prudent thing to do is to ban travel into and out of Asia, and round up every Asian in the US and inter them in camps. Someplace nice, tho. Like San Francisco, LA, Portland, Seattle, NYC, Boston, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Houston, Austin…any sanctuary city will do.

WHO says global risk of Wuhan virus is ‘high’

Admitting an error in its previous reports that said it was “moderate”

The UN health body said in a situation report published late Sunday that the risk was "very high in China

It has begun bros. Grab your guns and masks and go to the mountain.

Reminder, this virus has only been known about and identified for a little over a month. Even if they were being completely honest about it’s severity and communicability we’re dealing with a virtual unknown with the Wuhan CV.

I would not hit the panic button yet but there’s more than ample cause for concern.

China’s biggest concern isn’t containment, control, or treatment. They could easily afford to lose 300,000,000-400,000,000 of their own population, their concern is protecting their economy.

World stock markets are stating to react to the news and the potential for just how bad it could be before it’s over so there might well be a great buying opportunity coming up soon if it drops very far.

Agreed, the situation bears monitoring.

I posted a video in the thread made by a Wuhan citizen asking for help. Pretty much, he is saying the same thing you are.

I just heard on Fox Business that the CDC has prohibited local hospitals from diagnosing the killer Chinese Virus. They must send it ONLY to the CDC so they can manage the release or just stone wall it all together. This is utter bull shit. I know how this government crap works. The test is a “corona” virus. The test is available in every diagnostic lab of any consequence . We are not going to get the truth. We are entitled to absolute and immediate transparent information to protect ourselves. Trump must intervene.

Death toll numbers are doubling just as predicted.

The death toll from the coronavirus outbreak in China has soared to 106 on Tuesday with nearly 1,300 new cases confirmed authorities said, as the infection that emerged in the central province of Hubei late last year continues to spread.

The health commission in Hubei, the epicentre of the outbreak, said 24 more people had died from the virus and 1,291 more people had been infected, raising the total number of confirmed cases to more than 4,000 nationwide.

No, they are just trying to prevent an all out panic due to missed diagnosis and they are one of very few labs in the country of identifying such a virus since as yet there’s no simple lab test that can be done in house that can identify it.

Right now you need an electron microscope to do an elimination test and the capability of doing DNA typing to positively identify it.

There’s also the risk of hospital labs mishandling it and creating an even bigger problem.

That’s not just expected it’s inevitable. It’s going to double several times over before they get a handle on it. The outbreak went on completely or mostly uncontrolled for far too long for any other outcome to even be reasonably expected.

Corona-chan has made it to snowy New Hampshire

“Undergoing Testing”, not yet confirmed Wuhan Cornona Virus.

I spent several hours last night on the phone calming down employees who were calling me.

Our receptionist left work to see her doctor because she was sick and was having trouble breathing.

The doctor had her transported by ambulance to the hospital and she was quarantined. She was diagnosed with coronavirus HKU1.

I had to go through all the basics: wash hands, sanitize, etc. Let them know this doesn’t just apply to the work environment but to grocery shopping carts, etc.

But, it does tell me the medical community is on high alert and people are as well.

Where did this happen?

The new virus has been dubbed 2019-nCoV. I do not know that it is the same as HKU1. There are several coronaviruses, including SARS and MERS.
