The more lethal and rapid acting a virus the less success it has at spreading.
The symptoms are non existent or so mild or most of those infected they never even realize they have it. This has allowed it to spread like a wildfire.
When we are done with it in the US, we’re most likely going to see a sub 1% mortality rate and most likely between .1 and .08.
Mass testing for antibodies broadly across the population is going to be essential to finally understanding this virus and planning for the future.
I would not be surprised to see 30-60% of the population showing to have been exposed by the time it’s over.

Testing is confirmatory and exclusionary. You don’t have to be tested positive to have an affirmative diagnosis based on symptoms and diagnostics.
