‘I am told this is a garbage disposal. I’ve never seen a garbage disposal. I never had one in any place I’ve ever lived. It is terrifying. I don’t know what it’s for, or what its purpose is. Like, food scraps? Like, is this environmentally sound?’
That’s New York Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez exploring the perks of her “bougie” D.C. apartment, and, at the same time, reminding her vast social-media following of her hardscrabble upbringing.
Ocasio-Cortez has previously been criticized for transparent attempts at cultivating her image as a poor girl from the Bronx. Newsmax host John Cardillo called her out last year for misleading the American people about her childhood.
He tweeted this picture of her childhood home in Yorktown Heights, saying it’s “a far cry from the Bronx hood upbringing she’s selling”:
The New York Democrat, never one to shy away from a Twitter feud, fired back, explaining how her mother scrubbed toilets so they could afford to live in that modest home, which apparently didn’t have a garbage disposal.
“I grew up seeing how the zip code one is born in determines much of their opportunity,” she said in a tweeted response. “Your attempt to strip me of my family, my story, my home, and my identity is exemplary of how scared you are of the power of all four of those things.”
As for her latest Instagram stream, the 29-year-old congresswoman couldn’t resist tossing a little jab across the aisle:
“All you people telling me to reach in and grab whatever’s there are just Republicans trying to test my health insurance,” she said. “I’m onto you.”
She never watched a TV or movie that had a garbage disposal. She never heard one at a friends house… or maybe she never stayed to help clean up. She is a liar.
I am sure that most of her young adult life, she didn’t have to worry about any garbage disposal. She is from the Bronx. All they know is shredding. So, I am sure she shredded documents when she was a teen. No reason to shove any of those “important” documents down the drain.
She was a bartender. Yet, she looks upon the big metal box in amazement: “What is this wondrous box that creates Winter in the Summer?” “Let me tell the world about this!”
She is NOT from the Bronx. She is from Westchester County, NY which is a suburb of the NYC metro area and one of the wealthiest counties in the United States. She’s a typical NY limousine liberal / armchair socialist. She knows exactly what a garbage disposal is. She just acts like a fucking moron for the attention.
Simple logic and common sense will lead a person of normal intellect to deduce that the garbage disposals are environmentally sound. The scale of environmentality goes:
I think about 10~25% of landfills are composted of food waste, so its always beneficial to recycle these into compost heaps where they can be re-purposed into either fertilizers, biofuel or animal feeds (?)
Which is the glaring point of the whole matter that makes her a laughing stock. She clearly shows that she lacks normal intellect and deduction skills over a basic item as a garbage disposal.
Any reasonable person might just be intellectually curious enough to research the matter. But not AOC. If it is new to her, by God it is new to everyone in the world.
She cannot grasp the basics of a garbage disposal yet she can propose a “green deal” as though she is the end all of authority on the matter for you and for me.
As the other threads point out, she may be an actress or a front to a political organization tho Im sure she puts her own quirks in that “green new deal” as well when she mentioned cow fart.
I doubt anyone would waste their money on her. Actually, come to think of it she could have been hired by conservatives and she is doing a bang up job making the democrats look bad. If that is the case, man she is worth every penny.
