Well if you want to quote someone you should use quotes … “I guess you’re smart enough”
Or you could use the platform quoting system …
Otherwise people will ascribe those thoughts to you. 
If I post something, let’s say an article,

and somebody quotes from me the “left-wing arsonists are setting many of the wildfires” portion, it would appear I wrote that. Wouldn’t it?

Well … there is a possibility that this post is actually a comment upon the post which precedes it. That is difficult for me to know since the forum does not indicate that you have replied to the previous post, which in this case was a video clip from Fox News.
Well, a post following another post is assumed to be a comment or response.
Or maybe a new thought from a different angle.
I guess you can judge from the context.
