No evidence for anthropogenic climate change

At last, Brian Cox revealing himself (in an intellectual way)

When this guy says “ocean temperature,” he means the surface water temperature.
Forget it. It don’t mean shit.

What counts is the deep Atlantic water temp which has been dropping since the beginning of the 20th century, more than 100 years ago.

Climate always changes.

As for Greenland, there is technology today called HAARP to heat up a specific location to melt the ice locally.
If certain glaciers seem to retreat, no surprise there.

The ocean surface temperature is what affects the ferocity of tropical storms.

That’s correct. And that’s why we have so many hurricanes, typhoons and cyclones (which can be steered artificially).
But this surface temperature does not affect the overall earth temperature.

The magnitude nor the number of hurricanes has increased beyond the normal range in recent decades. Check the facts at NOAA

Not only that, the numbers of major earthquakes and volcanic eruptions increased.
Are they related to the climate? Probably, but geologists are not sure how.

During ice age glacials, volcanic activities increase by some reason. And that’s where we are sitting now.

You don’t know much about either politics or global economics then.

The developing countries want an economic advantage of he developed world and China wants to surpass the US as the world’s lone economic and military super power.

Just like the climate volcanic activity is cyclic.

Both crazy and false. You’re on a roll lately.

More utterly false and crazy BS.

I applaud your consistency.

Surface temps dictate evaporation rates and relative humidity and fuel storms. Hurricanes and Typhoons are fueled by warm moist air.

Fear and ignorance has produced an explosion of conspiracy theories. The fringe right is consumed with them. Everything is a hoax and a fraud, what a schizophrenic existence…

Replace that with “reverence and belief.”

Everything is a fiction and dogma.

There you have it.
We live in a religious world. Hallelujah.

Replace this with scientific evidence. The scientific measurements do not support any dramatic change in Earth’s climate, nor does it support man caused changes in climate (man does pollute, not the same thing).

Global warming/global cooling/climate change science deniers are awarded billions of dollars in government funds to “research” this hoax. If they concluded there is no cause for alarm, that the Earth’s climate always changes, they are out of work. That is THEIR motivation. What is the motivation for the other side?

Well, I wasn’t even addressing GCC in the post I responded to. Furthermore, my support of R&D to develop clean and renewable energy is all about clean air, clean water, clean soil, and an end to scarring up the landscape, things that allegedly has support all around.

R&D for things like Solindra? Cash for clunkers? Or do you support private corporations reinvesting profits into more efficient energy?

If the change over to “green energy” is more efficient and profitable (without taxpayer subsidies) then it will happen. Just as switching to natural gas, electric vehicles and fracking have become more prevalent due to the profitability of those energy methods and sources.

Profits are up, America has become oil independent, there’s little motivation to do more than drill baby drill.

False Corporations are motivated by profits. If “green energy” is more efficient then corporations will exploit those sources versus drilling. They aren’t, yet, so we drill baby drill. You likely do not remember when, back in the 1970s the activists were screaming that the Earth would run out of oil by 2000. Al Gore’s claims are suspect as well.

Actually, the fastest growing energy sector in the US is wind and solar. I drive the I-40 corridor between Ft Smith and Albuquerque monthly and there’s countless solar farms and the erecting of windmills is endless. And it’s creating record jobs.

What is a “false corporation”?

Wow, we’ve become oil-dependent! When did we cross the magic 20 million barrels per day threshhold?
