Sometimes piety can seem radical to those who live secular lives.
I have no beef with pious but non violent Muslims. In fact, I feel a certain closeness with them even if I do not understand them… the Sufi, for example.
Radical violent muslims though? …yes, send them to where ever they go when they die.
I consider the radicals to be those that promote the terrorism and killings. The worst are the ones that send children to do their bidding. Kill them all!
I have some non-radical Muslim friends that agree with me on this.
Some are just sadists. Look at what they did to that Jordanian pilot… burned him alive in a cage. And they made it into theater.
Not so long ago Europeans did the same thing. Torturous murder was used as tool of public intimidation to instill fear, not just fear of death, but fear of a horrible, painful, death in agony.
