Made in the USA!

The economy of the US is far more important to me than that of any other country, especially China. Buying products made in the USA is important to me.

I refuse to buy American Flags made anywhere else. I look at labels now more than ever before.

Here’s some info I recently received in an email. I haven’t verified all of the claims, but I doubt they are false. Let me know if you know otherwise concerning the source of these name brand products.

Made in the USA

ACE HARDWARE - Made in the
USA - Very Encouraging

READ ALL THE WAY TO
THE BOTTOM!
LOTS OF GOOD INFO HERE!

Costco
sells Goodyear wiper blades for almost
half the price that you will pay
on the outside and they are made in
the U.S.A. Read and do the following.

Unfortunately our
politicians and top CEOs have
pushed for trade to China and Mexico
for years so Americans are now out of
work.

Did You Know that there is no
electric coffee maker
made in the US and that the only
kitchen appliances made in the US is
Viking? This information came from
the a report by Diane Sawyer. Hopefully this has
changed or will soon!!

I DIDN’T KNOW HALLMARK
CARDS WERE MADE IN CHINA
That’s why I don’t buy
cards at Hallmark anymore, They are
Made in China and are more expensive!
I buy them at Dollar
Tree - 50 cents each and made in USA

I have been looking at
the blenders available on the
Internet. Kitchen Aid
is MADE IN THE USA. Top of my list
already…

Yesterday I was in
Wal-Mart looking for a
wastebasket. I found some Made
In China for $6.99. I didn’t want to
pay that much so I asked the lady
if they had any others. She took
me to another department and they
had some at $2.50 made in USA. They are
just as good… Same as a kitchen rug I
needed. I had to look, but I found some Made in
The USA - what a concept! - and they were $3.00
cheaper.

We are being
brainwashed to believe that everything that
comes from China and Mexico is cheaper. Not so.

One Light Bulb at A Time.

I was in Lowe’s the
other day and just out of curiosity, I looked
at the hose attachments. They were all
Made in China. The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose
attachments there. They were made in USA

Start looking, people
. …In our current economic
situation, every little thing we
buy or do affects someone else - most often,
their job.

My grandson likes
Hershey’s candy. I noticed, though, that it is
now marked “Made in Mexico.” I don’t buy it
anymore.

My favorite toothpaste
Colgate is made in Mexico …now I
have switched to Crest.

You have to read
the labels on everything.

This past weekend I was at Kroger. I needed
60W light bulbs and Bounce dryer
sheets. I was in the light bulb
aisle, and right next to the GE
brand I normally buy – was an
off-brand labeled,
“Everyday Value” I picked up both types of
bulbs and compared them: they were the same
except for the price … .the GE bulbs
cost more than the Everyday Value
Brand, but the thing that surprised
me the most was that that GE was
Made in MEXICO and the Everyday
Value brand was made in - you guessed
it - the USA at a company in
Cleveland, Ohio.

It’s way past time to start
finding and buying products
you use every
day that are made right Here.

So, on to the next
aisle: Bounce dryer sheets. Yep,
you guessed
it, Bounce cost more
money and is made in Canada. The
Everyday Value Brand cost less, and was MADE IN
THE USA! I did laundry
yesterday and the dryer sheets performed
just like the Bounce Free I have been
using for years, at almost half the price.

My challenge to you
is to start reading the labels when
you shop for everyday things and
see what you can find that is Made
In the USA -
The job you save may be your own or your
neighbor’s!

If you accept the
challenge, pass this on to others
in your address book so we can all
start buying American, one light bulb at a
time!

Stop buying from
overseas companies - you’re
sending the jobs there.
(We should have awakened a decade
ago…)

Let’s get with the
program and help our fellow
Americans keep their
jobs and create more jobs here in the
USA .

I passed this on… …Will you???
If you care about
American workers, you will pass it on

Good stuff Asaratis! I already buy American and have been for years when ever I can! Kitchen Aide is number 1 for me. There are also certain clothing Brand’s that are made in America as well.

What I propose and should happen, is every store should have a separate section with a big Red White and Blue sign that reads “Made in America!” For people with reading disabilities it will make it easier to find and support products made in the USA.

I have to admit, I used to buy “Made in China” products. Stuff like Nike, Sony and other brand names. Then I started realizing, “What the hell am I doing?” I should be buying “Made in USA” instead of making these Chinese rich. So, I stopped buying them for a few years now. I started buying stuff like Panasonic, Land’s End, and other American products. I was all for helping US corporations. That way, they stay in America.
I even stopped driving Nissan. Now, I drive a Dodge Ram pickup.

I agree with that.

Also, be wary of of ads that seem to imply that all of a company’s products are made in the USA. WeatherTech seems to do this…even though their vehicle window deflectors (that let you have the side windows down a bit without letting in rain water) and not made in the USA.

I will never drive a Chevy brand as they are practically owned by China, especially the Buick brand! Sigh!

I think it’s ok to buy Brand’s like Toyota so Long as they employ Americans and are being made in America.

I agree!

Justin Amash’s family company that manufactures tools have reportedly made the false claim that his products were made in the USA when in fact they were being made in China. When he got called out on it, it was then he became a big time Trump basher and left the Republican Party. This to me is an unforgivable offense!

I was buying Red Wing boots for years because they claim to be made in the USA. Turns out, only a few of their boots are. The majority of their line is manufactured all over Asia, which is bullshit considering the high price they charge for their boots.

Companies who don’t exclusively manufacture ALL of their products in the USA should be prohibited from saying so.

Absolutely. I too have Red Wing Boots, but mine were bought 15 years ago, and they still are good t go.

This one says “might soon be owned by the Chinese…” It already is.

Here’s a list of brand names under the Smithfield umbrella:

What about Carhart? Levi’s?

As of 2016, most Levi’s jeans are made outside the US, though a few of the higher-end, more expensive styles are still made in the U.S.

Guess where.

Carhartt made in the USA.

Yeah Carhartt is one brand that I can’t stomach to accept if they were either owned or made elsewhere.

What’s funny is all of Trump’s products made everywhere but the United States…:rofl:

Best boot, I wore them for years until I noticed a decline in quality and I was no longer getting five years out of a pair. I guess that was why…

Well that sucks. My husband and son love those boots and took pride in the fact they were supporting an AMERICAN company and workers…and yes they are very expensive.

That’s not true. MAGA hats are made by Cali-Fame. 100% made in the USA. You should buy one and support hard working Americans and your president.

This is a truly brilliant idea. I’ll buy one as soon as I’m done drinking bleach and injecting Lysol like the President said to do. Have you had your bleach yet this morning?

Thanks for all your work and research . :+1:

Well of course it’s true. Apparently you’re unfamiliar with the extensive list of Trump products. And I’m sure no other country would allow those hats to be manufactured on their soil…
