No, there’s nothing at all reasonable about your proposal and there’s no possibility the Israelis would ever agree to it.
? The claim is that under this proposal the Pal’s lose territory when in fact it would be a net gain for them.
You do have a point though, every inch of Palestine (region) has been won and lost through conquest innumerable times throughout history.
Thanks for your opinion and complete lack of substance.
The fact that the Israelis would never agree to your suggested proposal is all the substance that is relative.
They cannot give up the Golan and have defensible borders period.
There is no possibility they’d ever consider paying taxes to Syria, it isn’t going to happen.
How much more substance do you need?
And one of the biggest points of contention is the Golan Heights. The reason why the Israeli’s are illegally occupying the Golan Heights is due to oil. Israel’s founding family the Rothschilds, specifically Jacob Rothschild has oil dibs on the Golans via his exotic company Genie Energy, with Rupert Murdoch, Dick Cheney and other CIA Deep State elites on Genie’s board.
It’s all about the oil, in the short term anyway. Old news but perfectly relevant to the point:

No, The Brits cutting it up to suit their own interests and creating countries with no though to the tribal, ethnic, religious, or historical divisions that were the natural divisions for millennia as they abandoned the region as their empire collapsed after WWII are what created the instability.
Everything since has been an attempt to clean up their mess.
Ah - so the Palestinian reference to calling this proposed agreement another Balfour is exactly on point.
Horse hockey. It’s only recently that the possibility of oil in the Golan has even been discovered.
The strategic importance of the Golan is why they will never give it up.
He who controls The Golan can control everything between it and the sea with just a few artillery pieces.
Equally if not more importantly most of Israel’s water supply comes from the Golan.

There is no possibility Israel is ever going to turn the Heights over either to Syria or to the Palestinians. Doing so would be an act of national suicide.
Yes - give up power. Translation break-up and disarm Hamas. Remove weapons from Hamas and you will have Israeli settlements the next day in Gaza such as in Cisjordania.
Problem is not signing a treaty or peace agreement, it is to be sure that it will be followed by each party.
Basically, what does happen if somebody doesn’t respect rules ? Who is in charge of watching that rules are respected?
If they ever want peace and a state of their own they are going to have to be willing to accept an agreement that guarantees Israel’s safety and continued existence.
They were given an Arab state in Palestine, they refused to accept it and chose seventy years of civil war instead.
They own every civilian death of their own people that has occurred since as a direct refusal of the Trans Jordanian plan.
Pure BS, the Israelis have no desire whatsoever to live among terrorists that want them dead. That’s why they gave up Gaza and the territories to start with.
Sure it is…and yet if Hamas disbands and disarms that is exactly what will happen.
You said yourself it’s the terrorists that are the problem and the Palestinian people are friendly and just love their ■■■■■■ neighbors. Following your logic, the Palestinian people are of no threat so the Israelis wouldn’t be living among terrorists, but peaceful friends and neighbors.
Which is it?
Israel should never ever give up the Golan Heights and other areas that are important to its defense. FCK the Palestinians and their Allies !!!
GOD BLESS ISRAEL!!!
You have an entirely failed premise.
Arab Israelis who have lived in peace with their ■■■■■■ Neighbors are a completely different group than the Palestinians living in the territories and Gaza.
The latter have been backing and enabling Palestinian terrorists as well as putting them in gov’t for seventy years.
■■■■ would have to be suicidal to want to live among them.
The UN recognizes the Golans as Syrian/Assad territory. Israel nibbles and nibbles away at the region, biding their time with justifications and whining and using their puppet in the White House to prance around and make all sorts of pointless declarations. Until Kushner/Bibi figure out how to oust Assad and destroy Iran using American soldiers, just like the Israeli’s did with the Iraq War via Bibi and the Neocons and their girl Hillary, besties with Lynn Rothschild (see her emails)…including the one where she states ousting Assad is a favor to Israel.
And look who’s on the Genie Energy board, Neocons.
Its members include former Vice President Dick Cheney, Michael Steinhardt, Jacob Rothschild, Rupert Murdoch, R. James Woolsey, Jr., Lawrence Summers and Bill Richardson
Israeli authorities awarded Afek Oil and Gas (Genie Energy) an exclusive 36-month petroleum exploration license to a 153-square-mile (400km2) plot in the Golan Heights, which the UN recognizes to be Syrian territory
The October 2015 announcement of the potential oil reserves in the southern Golan Heights often heralded that this discovery would make Israel self sufficient in oil for many years to come. As of 2015, Israel consumes 270,000 barrels of oil per day
Then suit up and go die for Israel.
There were no Israel before 1950.
You act as if the British just simply abandoned Palestine as if nothing happened to force their withdrawl - completely ignoring the reign of terror waged by Irgun.
Anyway - ■■■■■■ Israelis are essentially illegal immigrants that took their state from the natives. From that point onward their occupation is illegal. But I fully support it as long as Israel takes refugees and immigrants as they encourage the West to do. They should lead by example.
I don’t care what the UN recognizes. Israel isn’t going to give up the Golan.
Read your own citation. There is only a “POTENTIAL” for large oil reserves in the Golan and that wasn’t even discovered until 2004.
The strategic importance of The Golan has been known for over 3000 years prior to that discovery.
If I wasn’t going on 71yrs of age I would!!! Palastinian peace is easy.Recognize Israel’s right to exist is the first step. Not that hard, but they want it all and don’t care how much of their blood it costs.
If Syria or Iran want the Golan Heights, let them try and take it!!! They will never succeed!!!
Who really gives a FK about the Communist U.N.!!! It’s USELESS???
