The Allerona train disaster pales in comparison with the Cap Arcona incident, which has been called history’s deadliest case of friendly fire. The tragedy, which took place in the war’s final days (May 3, 1945), involved three ships in the harbour of Lubeck, Germany: the Thielbek , the SS Deutschland and the former luxury cruise liner Cap Arcona . Loaded with Allied POWs as well as more than 4,000 inmates from Nazi concentration camps, the luckless vessels were targeted by a flight of nine RAF Typhoons on an anti-shipping strike. [10] Allied intelligence believed the ships were carrying fugitive Nazis bound for Scandinavia when in reality, the Germans had loaded the ships with the prisoners and inmates and were reportedly planning on scuttling all three of the vessels, passengers and all. [11] As the British planes struck, the SS guards on board abandoned ship, but not before firing into crowds of panicking prisoners. Tugs and trawlers in the harbor managed to take 400 of the guards off the burning ships, but left the captives, many of whom leapt into the frigid water to escape the conflagration. Those survivors who didn’t either perish aboard the holed and sinking vessels or succumb to hypothermia, were repeatedly strafed by the Typhoons as they swam for safety. The British pilots later reported swooping low over the hapless fugitives firing into clusters of them as they bobbed in the water. Other prisoners were mercilessly cut down by SS guards as they neared the shore. The bodies of the victims choked the harbor and continued to wash ashore for weeks after the tragedy; skeletal remains were still being recovered as late as the 1970s. [12] Subsequent investigations suggested that the Swedish government had passed along intelligence to the British indicating the ships were housing prisoners and death camp inmates, but that information was never communicated to mission planners. [13]
Now compare that bolded part with this.
On June 6, the Joint Chiefs sent Admiral McCain, father of the senator from Arizona, an urgent message instructing him to move the Liberty out of the war zone to a position at least 100 miles off the Gaza Coast. McCain never forwarded the message to the ship.
The ship was supposed to be elsewhere. The Israelis were preparing to defend the life of their nation, completely surrounded by enemies posturing for an attack. An intelligence ship that is supposed to be 100 miles away appears 13 miles off the coast.
We would sink it too under similar conditions.
That is neither context or comparable.
The Liberty was not an accident and it certainly wasn’t friendly.
Korean Airlines 007 was attacked by the Soviets.
Rep. Larry McDonald, critical of the Rockefeller rule of America, was on that flight. The Soviet Union was ruled by the Rockefellers.

No. Actually, the plane crash-landed on the beach of Sakhalin and the nobody died. But Rep. McDonald was thus captured and executed. Other passengers and crew were taken to gulag camps and allowed to live.

Had I been on the Liberty with a weapon, I would have shot at the Israelis. Had I been an Israeli pilot who received orders to bomb the ship… I might have bombed the ship or I might have been like the one who didnt. Not sure what agreement an Israeli officer makes with his country.
But maybe more relevant is this… If I were an American pilot defending a small sector of American land and its American inhabitants, surrounded by a hateful and viscous enemy posturing to attack and a spy ship flying - say - the UK flag was given to me as my target, I would check that those orders were valid but would still attack if ordered to do so. The ship could be known by my superiors to be taken over by hostiles, or controlled by a rogue element, or otherwise endangering MY people- even not intentionally but through stupidity or error.

The idea that someone can post a lie that has been ready made for internet distribution by hate sites and the only allowable response is supposed to be calm facts, each researched for hours, is preposterous. I consider Israel to be part of my spiritual heritage. An attack on Israel is an attack on me. Call my spiritual heritage murderers, liars, and imposters and I’m gonna call you some vile names too. If that "in-kind’ defense cannot be tolerated on a free speech site, then it’s not what it purports to be.
Israeli apologists don’t care about the facts. 
The fact is Israel stopped the attack before they sunk the ship. Why? If they wanted to sink a defenseless ship, why didn’t they ?
Answer: The people who gave the orders to attack the ship realized that the ship was not a threat so they stopped the attack.
And yet there’s no actual evidence supporting the claim.
Radio transmissions, never happened or there would be a record of them.
The American who claimed to be in the war room when the command was given specifically to attack the Liberty, was proven not to have been present and the general he supposedly accompanied never existed.
There’s just no evidence to support they claim they knowingly attacked The Liberty knowing it was an American Ship.
Sadly it would have been much easier to silence the ■■■ Hating conspiracy nuts had they finished her off and put her on the bottom.
Thankfully they realized in time the mistake that had been made.
