I’ve kinda thought that the purpose of their high birth rate is to breed more jihadists for the big punch-up between good and evil, but then I remembered that Roman Catholics breed like rabbits too, but they do it to increase adherents to the faith and add to the Vatican’s already prodigious wealth.

Not necessarily. It usually takes several generations to break the habits and traditions people bring with them when they immigrate.
As for Catholics, it’s not purposeful on their part, it’s simply a command they are given by the Papacy.
Arguably there is intent behind it other than scripture from the leadership but the “faithful” are just being faithful.
Whether they do it with intent or because they’re ordered to, it amounts to the same thing - more kids equals more money for the Catholic church.
I suppose looking through the lense of a liberal Trump would be undermining what you think of as democracy. What you call democracy I call the Social Justice Agenda.

You apparently neither are Catholic nor do you seem to have any basis for the statement.
Spend some time studying it, ask Catholics about it and listen to their answers instead of assuming. That is how you build a knowledge base and can then speak accurately on the subject.
Particularly in world affairs and foreign policy it’s much better to be respected than liked. Some people, particularly many of the young today seem to think everything is a popularity contest.
Trump is going a long ways towards reestablishing the US’ place in the word based on respect instead of kissing ass and apologizing.
