Very good point! I don’t Think many of Schiffs peers have much respect for Schiff, but after Nadler insulted the Senate everyone just became galvanised against what he or anyone else had to say from his committee.

If he were under oath, he might be able to state his name and address then he’d have to sit back down.
If I were one of Trump’s attorney’s I’d exploit that to show this is the gold standard of the House Impeachment process.
I wonder if the reason he is acting this way is because of the close association with the recent arrests of questionable people? I mean normal people would lay Low but not Schiff, so it begs to question whether he actually believes that what he is doing is going to work?

It could be as simple as ego. He screwed up and he knows it. How many people double down because it is too difficult to admit they are wrong?
That is the main problem we have with Congress. The people that represent us in the House and the Senate are immune from penalties regarding lying.
On the one hand we have the MSM praising Schiff as a magnificent orator and on the other the Senators being appalled by what that lying son of a bitch says.
Schiff is among several Representatives that should be impeached and never again allowed to hold public office at any level.

Parnas told the truth, we’ve heard the tape, and Trump lied about not knowing him. On the tape he told Parnas, concerning our ambassador to Ukraine, to “take her out”…

He never had her. This was always going to be a partisan trial without conviction. Everyone on both sides made their position clear before AOI were ever delivered.

Just like the Clinton Impeachment, the outcome highly depends on public opinion. Trump’s defense is trying to show how dumb the Democrats are and show that this is all a political hit job. If you didn’t commit a crime but where indicated for two crimes, would you not put up a defense? Of course you would and right now the Democrats are getting crushed.
