Impeachment - Pro and Con

The droning of the impeachment drums simply shows us they really have nothing else to run on in 2020 that can pull their base together and get them to the polls.

It’s an act of pure desperation.

A president carrying out the duties of his office under the constitution cannot be guilty of obstruction.

As for number 3 the SCOTUS has no jurisdiction over impeachments.

The rest is pretty right on.

What the F are you talking about ? What did he screw up ? The economy ? The lowest unemployment rates ? The concept of being a sovereign nation with borders ? The near trillion dollar farm bill ? The highest consumer confidence in 20 years ? The highest labor participation in history ? The national defense bill ? The release of American prisoners from N Korea ? The sweeping tax reforms ? The defense bill that gave our brave troops the largest pay raise in years ? The downsizing of government ? The firing of all AG’s under Obama ? The $300,000,000 budget cut to the UN ? The 5 year ban on lobbyist ? The support for ICE ? The continued all time record DOW ? The Veterans Care Act ? The VA accountability Act ? The tough stand against sanctuary Cities ? The renegotiating NAFTA ? I’m sure you rather have Hillary take his place .

This shows many folks on the left that hasn’t read the Mueller report in its entirety
you folks regurgitate talking points from the left who clearly hasn’t read the report.

Take it from a right winger who has actually read the report and the indictments and the plea bargain agreement.

If you want to challenge me about the report feel free as I can talk about it .

  1. collusion and Im using Mueller’s own word, isn’t a legal term and he says so, even “coordination” was also hard to prove because of the legality, hence why he was focused on “conspiracy”

He said so 6 times he couldn’t find conspiracy between the Russian government and Trump’ s campaign team

Which is why he focused on “obstruction” and he said and I quote " he found Potential obstruction of justice", not definite obstruction of justice

  1. he laid out his fact finding mission to the AG who didnt feel there was enough evidence to go after Trump and he said so, and the Democrats and Trump Haters hated it

  2. Mueller who was supposed only investigate and report what he found instead offered up hints that Congress should investigate and hold the President accountable, so he wanted Congress to do his job which gets Mueller off the hook, hence why he said what he said in this hasty press conference

Bottom line is this was a waste of time and resources and just political maneuvering, anything to throw Trump off his game for the 2020 election

And you wonder why we have no faith in government or congress or even lawyers.

The problem is they may not stand for it but as a group they will support it.
Th example is simple, look at how many times the democrats didn’t vote lock step on an issue or against an issue.

They have ensured there is little common ground or room for compromise as they hold to the premise compromise is when I get everything and you get nothing. The shut down was a perfect example of their lockstep vote and refusal to compromise and the rights bending over (again) to end the shutdown.

I’m not a lawyer but I can’t understand what evidence was missing that prevented one more more conspiracy charges from happening. This is the 18 US Code 317 on Conspiracy.

If two or more persons conspire either to commit any offense against the United States, or to defraud the United States, or any agency thereof in any manner or for any purpose, and one or more of such persons do any act to effect the object of the conspiracy, each shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.

If, however, the offense, the commission of which is the object of the conspiracy, is a misdemeanor only, the punishment for such conspiracy shall not exceed the maximum punishment provided for such misdemeanor.

I would have thought the Trump tower meeting would have met this criteria by itself. What am I missing?

because it’s not illegal to have a meeting to discuss business in a foreign country the exception if the country is deemed our enemy

its illegal if Trump’s people got together with Putin’s people to rig the election.

There are still Democrats who hold onto the old days… believing it’s the party of the working man. They obviously dont watch or read the news… or dont have the intellectual curiosity to see otherwise. And even black people don’t realize that Dems have now thrown them under the bus to make room for illegal Hispanics and their chain migration.

Did Trump attend the meeting at the Trump tower???

In Mueller’s final report the Trump Tower meeting is little more than a blip, just one of a host of incidents that drew his attention. His analysis tells the story of how Trump, his son and many of those in the White House came to escape being charged due to the difficulty of making indictments stick and the high legal bar Mueller faced to establish criminal intent.

Put simply, it’s hard to catch someone red-handed committing collusion, obstruction or even campaign finance violations no matter how suspicious or unpatriotic it might look to a legal layperson.

And even more difficult to prove if it was an innocent meeting.

They have no intentiion of even reading the summary because if they expose themselves to the facts their entire worldview collapses in a pile of broken promises and dreams along with the delusion of Utopia Obama spent 8 years convincing them was just around the corner if only they’d elect Hillary.

From what I have read and heard there is nothing in the report that states Trump is guilty or innocent of an impeachable offense. With that said Congress could continue with their own investigation and try to tie up any loose ends. That would take a lot of time and resources which Congress does not have. If Congress had the wherewithal to conduct such an investigation there never would have been a Mueller investigation.

All the Democrats are doing is keeping this afloat hoping it will still have a life when the election comes up. It might persuade some of those in the middle not to vote for Trump.

As far as Russia and Trump go that’s a bag full of steamy hot shit. Several Democrats had deep ties with Russia.

Hillary approved of the Uranium deal. Every pound of Uranium the Russians bought was used to fuel their reactors on their Ships and Subs.

Russian was involved with the Iran Deal. Iran used a lot of that money to purchase arms from Russia.

The Clintons and their Foundation had no issues accepting money from Russian sources.

Old Bill Clinton spent time in Russia protesting the Viet Nam War.

Bernie Sanders and his cheating wife spent their honeymoon in Russia. Of all the places they chose Russia. I’ve been to Russia and it sucks.

Trump will not be impeached all the Democrats are going to do is talk about it.

Mueller noted several complicating factors with respect to determining whether illegal obstruction occurred. For starters, he wrote, “the evidence does not establish that the President was involved in an underlying crime related to Russian election interference.” Or, as Trump has repeatedly reminded, the report found “NO COLLUSION” by anyone in the Trump campaign with Russians trying to sway the 2016 election in his favor. But that doesn’t preclude the possibility of obstruction, Mueller said. According to the report, “the evidence does point to a range of other possible personal motives animating the President’s conduct. These include concerns that continued investigation would call into question the legitimacy of his election and potential uncertainty about whether certain events-such as advance notice of WikiLeaks’s release of hacked information or the June 9, 2016 meeting between senior campaign officials and Russians could be seen as criminal activity by the President, his campaign, or his family.”

Nor does the fact that many of the president’s acts occurred in public view — “including discouragement of cooperation with the government and suggestions of possible future pardons” — necessarily clear him, the report states.

Mueller report: While it may be more difficult to establish that public-facing acts were motivated by a corrupt intent, the President’s power to influence actions, persons, and events is enhanced by his unique ability to attract attention through use of mass communications. And no principle of law excludes public acts from the scope of obstruction statutes. If the likely effect of the acts is to intimidate witnesses or alter their testimony, the justice system’s integrity is equally threatened.

You bet they come in post shit and retreat to their safe sites.

Of course the monitor the topic laughing at everyone posting, sigh, when will we learn to ignore the idiots posting garbage topics.

Let this republican humor you…

The president cannot be held liable for obstruction for carrying out the duties of his office.

Those folks need to get a copy of the rule book or as we call it,
“The US Constitution”.

Mueller mentioned that in his speech last Wednesday.

Mueller emphasized, however, that his analysis of the evidence did not clear the president of obstruction. Said Mueller: “[I]f we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the President clearly did not commit obstruction of justice, we would so state. Based on the facts and the applicable legal standards, we are unable to reach that judgment.”

Muller just wanted to throw a turd in the pool as he was climbing out. He only made this statement after announcing his retirement.

Trumpers will tout the parts of Mueller comments that they like and then criticize and demean him over parts such as this that they don’t…

As in what? Obstruction of Justice? What obstruction did he commit?
If you are going to tell me that Trump lied, and that it’s in the report; go ahead. But remember it’s a report written by Mueller - who hates Trump in the first place. You know Mueller wanted to get Trump. As he has been trying to do for the past 2 years.
