‘COMPLETE ANARCHY’ – Hundreds of Teens Riot in Chicago
DEVELOPING STORY: Several hundred teenagers are rioting in downtown Chicago and police officers are describing the scene as “complete anarchy.”
At least three people have been shot and a number of transit workers have been attacked and beaten by the mob. Video shows young thugs mounting cars and buses – terrorizing motorists.
At least one news crew was forced to take cover to avoid being shot and Northwestern University has been placed on lockdown to protect students. There are also reports that teens are trying to force their way into the Art Institute of Chicago.
“It’s heartbreaking, kids fighting, chasing each other, some of them got guns,” an eyewitness told NBC News. “It’s really heartbreaking when one of them actually gets hurt, and that’s unfortunate, happened last night.”
“It was a lot of cops here, but they were still outnumbered,” the witness added. “There were so many teenagers that showed up, and they tried to keep the peace and keep them under control.”
Walgreens in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, is closing up shop. Neighbors were reportedly informed by a Walgreens official about the impending closure, which is one of its flagship locations.
What are these animals going to do when there is no more stores to loot?
I also think its pathetic that public officials were coming out decrying Walmart’s decision to close these stores as if they are the victims, yet can’t do anything about the chimps destroying and looting their stores. Of course they are going to close them, any smart common sense business person sees the writing on the wall!
California Stores Closing Early As Unpunished Theft Explodes
Retail stores in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Sacramento are shortening their business hours amid a surge in organized retail theft.
Drugstore chain Walgreens said it would be closing an additional five stores in the city, bringing the number of shuttered locations to 22 in the past five years, according to San Francisco Chronicle. The company has cited “organized retail crime” for the closings.
