The US Navy now says that it has video showing, clearly, that Iran was behind the attack late last week; that those in Iranian vessels were busily placing explosives on ships.
Moreover, the uranium stockpile limits–brokered in 2015–will be broken by Iran in only 10 days, unless Europe steps in to attenuate the American sanctions.
Since 1979–when Iran took 52 Americans hostage, for 444 days–the country (and one uses the word very loosely here) has been–at best–a rogue nation.
Of course its not. What a ridiculously dumb question. A single targeted response, like Reagan did to Libya, is exactly that, a single targeted response. We didn’t go to war. You have a serious IQ issue.
More often than not all you have to do to stop a bully is smash his face with one very powerful punch.
Iran is in no position to go to war with the US but they are more than happy to push it as far as they can until we show them the terrible cost of doing so.
Casting the Trump administration’s credibility gap into sharp relief, allies like Japan and Germany have demanded more “credible” evidence to support the U.S. claim.
Not necessary, they have both been staunch allies for over fifty years.
Both however have a clear financial stake in doing business with Iran.
They are currently making a diplomatic show, they know who’s responsible as much as we do and when the forensics are complete they’ll suddenly be onboard.
Remmeber too but have a case of diaper rash over Trump forcing them into fairer trade deals.
There’s much more going on here than you see on the surface.
