Above post is meant to be a reply to your questions, but somewhere I didn’t click on the right icon.
Iranian clerics are more rational than you might think.
Iranians know the corrupt shah regime was installed by the CIA to profit the US oil companies at the expense of average Iranians.
Even Iraqis who fought Saddam know that the gulf wars were all about oil. These Iraqis sided with the US/UK coalition because they couldn’t stand the Saddam regime.
I won’t but at least I have a day job that isn’t dependent on the number of posts I can make on social media.
Whats the going rate for a Hasbara troll these days?
That applies equally to US and Israel.
If anyone touches Iran - Israel is toast.
Real dirty - Theres an old saying that Generals are always fighting the last war - that will apply in spades this time
Jeez are you guys really that frigging clueless?
1 - Do you really think that is even remotely possible.
2 - Are you also going to destroy Hezbollah, Houthis, Iranian forces in Iraq, and you probly got a very short window to do it - like 24 hrs.
It will not be a conventional war and how many useless bombers you got is irrelevent.
On day one what will happen is
1 - Straits of Hormuz will be closed to all shipping
2 - A few oil facilities in KSA will be bombed
3 - A couple of US warships/aircraft carriers will become submarines.
4 - Israeli airports will be hit.
But I didn’t say we were or are “beholden” to them. The deal is that since the collapse of the Soviet Union and the advent of a single superpower, there has been criticisms from China and then Russia over the US’s abuse of power and they have both decried the US dominated unipolar world and the threat that it poses to global security. This is why Russia and China’s military expenditures have increased significantly in the last two decades and the two have been slowly developing closer ties and engage in 4-5 joint military exercises a year and have blocked the US from putting sanctions on Syria and have blocked the US from securing a resolution for the use of force in Syria.
I’m pretty sure that they would oppose the US from pursuing the war hawks wet dream of regime change in Iran…
Reading, and I would recommend to you Hitler: A study in tyranny by Alan Bullock, The rise and fall of the Third Reich by William Shirer or Hitler, the Fuhrer and the people by JP Stern. You could even read his own book for a good window into his soul.
Nazi Germany came into being as a result of the Versailles Treaty, total subjugation of Germany, and many German patriots (including many patriotic German ■■■■■ thought drastic measures were needed to free Germany from this unbearable yoke.
Russia is no different. The Bolshevik Revolution was a total takeover of Russia by satanist ■■■■ where Christian Russians were massacred. Solzhenitsyn’s estimate is probably right, at 66 million.
After Gorbachev broke up the Soviet Union, a corrupt ■■■ Boris Yeltsin started selling Russian assets to the western (Read ■■■■■■■ millionaires. Current Russia is a reaction to this intentional destruction of Russia and its people.
Russian leadership knows that a loss of Iran to the same old western (You know who) powers will be the return to the nightmare under Lenin and Stalin (two crypto-■■■■■ and they will do their utmost to prevent it.
This is a fantasy. Israel is certainly not going to be toast.
Iran won’t be allowed to control the straits for more than a few days because that’s all the time it will take to destroy their ability to control them.
Unlike China and Russia we’ve proven we can afford to fight large scale prolonged wars just fine in the modern era.
China’s economy collapses without US trade and suddenly they have about 1.6 Bn desperate Chinese trying to figure out if they’ll have a job the next day, where they’ll get food, shelter, water, even the basic necessities of life.
If Russia wants a war we can sink their economy overnight by simply attacking their oil infrastructure and we wouldn’t even have to hit targets inside Russia to cripple it.
Iran couldn’t defeat Israel even absent a coalition acting against it.
If Iran does try to send it’s military beyond it’s borders the Saudis and Jordan come in as well and Iran has not only it’s offensive capability destroyed by the US but most of it’s defensive capability is gone in a matter of days or weeks.
Iran’s economy is already in desperate shape so they can’t afford any of this much less war with a coalition that would include the US/UK KSA, Israel, Jordan, and others.
The Mullah’s hold on power is weak and tenuous at best and without the IRG and their brown shirt cohorts the people will take it down from inside.
Iran’s only actual hope with these provocations is that the Euro’s step in and negotiate a new, more favorable deal for them and an easing of sanctions.
