Hong Kong dissidents hoping to take protests to mainland China

She was put there by the CCP, and after this disastrous presser, support for her is rapidly dwindling by the minute! If the CHICOM’s were smart the most sensible way to end this chaos is to remove her from her position and hold an election. Even if the election is rigged, putting someone else in to replace her would certainly go a long way in appeasing the MOB and settling things down until the next controversy appears, which in HK’s case seems to be every 10 years, a cycle that is oddly consistent now.

The next phase in the protests … protesters eschew facebook, resorting to Tinder and Pokemon Go as an organisational aid.

A reminder of the demands; a shame that they cannot count…

The student said this movement, like the others, demands the Hong Kong government do five things: “Completely withdraw the extradition bill; retract the proclamation that the protests were riots; withdraw criminal charges against all protesters; thoroughly investigate abuse of powers by the police; dissolve the Legislative Council by administrative order; and immediately implement dual universal suffrage.”

With China massing troops nearby I have a feeling this isn’t going to end well for the protesters or for all of HK as they are likely going to use it as an excuse to takeover completely.

Are there bridges to the mainland or will they have to come across by Ferry and Air?

This morning there was a ‘report’ on the radio indicating that a significant number of people want China to restore order in Hong Kong. So that is the start of the propaganda.

There is at least one land crossing

Tonight we sleep easy, for tomorrow is the time for intense fasting and meditation as I sit in the middle of chaos! Right now there is lightning streaks flashing every few minutes over the city here in Kowloon. A major storm is heading our way and I take it as a sign! I have providence that the night will take me quick!

Here is a article in which you were intimating about earlier that you might find illuminating.

As Trump, US Officials Link Trade Deal With Hong Kong, Chinese Regime Threatens Retaliation

Very awesome documentary on Hong Kong!

https://youtu.be/Kk6gfAtwZ7Q

So … the Chinese mentality reveals itself

China’s state-run China Central Television (CCTV) commented on Pence’s speech in its Aug. 20 evening daily news program Xinwen Lianbo, which is broadcast simultaneously by all local TV stations in mainland China, claiming that the Sino-British Joint Declaration had “become a historical document” on July 1, 1997, when Hong Kong was handed over to mainland China.

Yep! Most of us who know the Chinese and their culture, or even speak the language understand that this should come as no surprise. Their next move should be an interesting one as it relates to dealing with the protesters. That being said, the issue that Pence brought up of tying the trade deal to any action of China that violates democratic values has sparked outrage with the CHICOM’s and is exactly what the US is expecting. Panda mask/Dragon face is being mirrored by Trump team! Truly remarkable!
