She had mumbled something that didn’t even sound like Japanese.
You are throwing an insult at the Japanese in general.
I like to read old literature, though, going back to the Middle Ages which contains humor and sarcasm.

The post is ment towards all humans and no perticular race in specific.
I know you mean no harm.
Nonetheless, there’s no denying that modern Japanese (especially women) have no sense of humor.
I never met any funny Japanese woman.
Maybe my fault. Like attracts like.
