That’s a lie of course. The occupation of Germany ended in 1955.
Allied forces remained in Germany strictly at the invitation and request of the German Gov’t largely to prevent the Soviets from absorbing all of Germany and it’s resources.
If not for the US presence in Post War Western Europe the Soviets would have conquered it entirely by 1950.

Obama squandered our victory in Afghanistan and the public is fed up with supporting a war with no foreseeable end or end game so all that’s left is figuring out how to leave with the least possible damage.

We had a win by any definition until Obama decided to squander it to appease the anti war left in the US and around the world.
