Yes I get that. Some of the so called terrorism is acting or mental people talked into situations but that is not what I’m talking about. My Grandfather was jewish but it was never on the surface of our lives, he warned my Mother as a child to never be involved.

I’m not very proud of my ancestors — whom I never met.
They probably spent their lives just to survive and make ends meet.
I only met 3 grandparents. 1 was deceased before I was born.
My ancestors probably were good, law-abiding people, but they were never given a chance to wake up, the way we are today, fortunate enough to learn from the internet, etc.
Do I meet them when I make the transition?

What do I tell them if I was to meet them?

I think beyond your Grandparents there is little to no chance of any emotional bond and therefore you can look objectively at their lives in relation to their period in time without feeling you have to carry any emotional baggage.
I tend not to think beyond the reality of being alive now, although if there was something beyond I assume I would connect with the people I know and normal relations with family would resume. I can’t imagine for example a similar relationship with a great,great,great grandmother to that of my mother, they would still be strangers in my thinking ?
