I completely agree with this. Decades ago police were better at conflict resolution than modern police. It was less about pretending to be a badass and more about de-escalating bad situations. Now, you get cops like pic related showing up at your door over a noise complaint.
Or AR-71’s? Same argument. This narrative is just an impetus for banning all guns in general!

If he believes an AR-15 is used by the military, he is too stupid to be allowed to influence gun law. If he doesn’t believe that then he is a liar who will say anything to move the needle and shouldn’t be allowed to influence gun law. The second option is also known as a politician.
No doubt! Essentially what he is doing is making his media rounds and then measuring the public’s response through social media analytics to gauge which issue has more effect in which to run on in the upcoming election. In other words, he probably will decide which issue will work best to attract voters to his cause! Watch for it!

I think they’re still working on that. They passed thousands of laws throughout the United States on banning or restricting firearms and none of them have ever seemed to do anything.
