I agree. Its not a gun issue, its a problem with our society. I wont pretend to understand why, but there is something fundamentally wrong that is pushing people to this psychological fringe.
Gun control is not the solution, its like putting a bandaid on a bleeding aorta.
I can understand the thinking of trying to limit high capacity magazines and bump stocks, but that will never completely solve the problem of extremely disturbed individuals committing acts of massive violence.
As one fellow opined, we don’t need gun control, we need kid control.

I don’t have an AR-15. The synthetic stock scares me. I have a harmless Mini-14, with the non scary wooden stock. What’s that you say, the Mini-14 uses the same caliber ammunition & has the same cycling rate as the semiautomatic AR-15. And there ya have it, concerning all the brain dead polticians who know little or nothing about semiautomatic weapons. Folks, do these people a favor & switch to the nonlethal Mini-!4.
