Bernie Sanders Running for President in 2020

François Hollande taxed 75% of the income of millionaires in France about 5 years back and what did they do in return? They moved out of France. “Around 10,000 millionaires left the country in 2015, followed by 12,000 last year.” according to New World Wealth.Apr 21, 2017
Same thing happened in Maryland about 9 years ago. Democrat governor Martin O’Malley did the same and what happened? The millionaires moved out of the state. The state coffers made less than before. Even Democrats voted for a Republican governor after that rather than another idiot Democrat.
Stupid proposals from stupid minded politicians.

It’s all free until someone has to pay for it.

Well, when the free stuff crowd accumulates some stuff watch them whine about their stuff being stolen because someone needs it more.

I see your point, but that a socialist would even gain a platform in this country, not be a laughing stock, is a very bad omen.

That’s hilarious. Do you find these or do you do them yourself?

Glad you liked it.
I find them. If they’re funny, I’ll post them.
Occasionally I’ll make one.

And it always ends up being the working stiff !!! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

I’m of the opinion that Socialism can’t succeed without Capitalism. However, in a socialists society Capitalists are chased away or regulated and taxed so heavily that the companies end up closing.

The wealth in a Socialist Society ends up with just a handful of people. Typically they are the elected officials and a few high ranking CEO’s. The remainder of the wealth is spread across the masses and is so diluted that there is never enough to pull the majority out of poverty.

I’m also of the opinion that a Capitalist Society must finance, manage and maintain some social programs so as to help the lower 10% of the population. We must provide safety nets for those that have fallen on bad times or those born into society that can’t take care of themselves. With that said I also firmly believe we must enforce these programs so as to keep the lazy from taking advantage.

What I find intriguing is all of the talk about healthcare. Neither side of this debate has the answers. Socialists want everyone to have health care insurance but they also want to tax the working class and wealthy to death to pay for it.

The other side of this debate want’s to fix the health care problem but so far have not come up with many solutions.

That is a lot of $$ that the eventual D nominee will never see.

The D party hates his I status and will sink him again.

One thing I always ask social safety net advocates. Why shouldn’t welfare be a loan, to be repaid once you are again making a taxable income?

There is no health care problem there is a health insurance problem.

I used to be able to see my doctor and speak openly. Now, they spend more time on the computer checking off things then they actually do speaking to me.

Used to be your doctor was in charge. If he suspected something, he could cut to the chase and order the tests he wanted.

Now, you have to check the boxes and complete Step A, B and C first.

This is what happens when government becomes involved in your healthcare.

If you want a fix to the problem, get the government out.

Health care wouldn’t be nearly as expensive as it is if we didn’t have insurance companies dictating what they’re willing to pay doctors either. There’s a reason doctors charge more for people with insurance. They’re trying to make up the difference for what insurance companies refuse to pay and thus charging the insurance holder more. I consistently paid less out of pocket for most treatment than I ever had to pay once insurance was made mandatory.

Bernie is a multi millionaire!

He has three houses, and yet he is going to preach about wealth inequality to the commoners whose vote he is pandering to? He is the biggest hypocrite of them all!

There is a story floating around today about a young gal that took out student loans totaling $226K for a degree in Greek mythology and now she can’t find a job and is not able to repay her student loans. The Democrats are using her sad story as an example to support their free college initiative.

First of all, a degree in Greek mythology is almost as useless as tits on a Boar Hog. This is where government regulations should come into play. Government-backed student loans should not pay for degrees such as Art History, Music, Liberal Arts, Performing Arts. I think you get my point.
