As neo-liberalism transitions to post-liberalism, the majority of people don’t really understand what’s going on.
The feminists, gays and non-white racialists believe with the decline of traditional white man identity - that their own identity will fill the void and they’ll enjoy their “turn” on top - but they won’t. Because their identities are just next in line to get deconstructed into nothingness. Identity itself will become irrelevant, not just a particular identity like white male.

He had an attitude a mile wide … definitely not an ‘innocent’ boy … a hardened little criminal on his way to where he ended up … lazy, black racists don’t cop to their own rottenness and the rottenness they engender in their offspring … and too many whites are trying to appease them, the left cultivates them like a plantation, and they live on the fringes of society in ‘hoods’, because they won’t assimilate, so they envy and despise whites because they want what the whites have, but they don’t want to humble themselves and see their own faults and improve … they want it to be handed to them by their masters, the politicians who cultivate them for votes and give them EBT cards and food stamps, and treat them like favored ‘pets’ … surly, and nasty, of course the cops wanna bust their heads, they deserve it …
Yes, there are exceptionally bad cops sometimes, but 98% of what I just wrote is dead on true…

Well, I am sure he had a criminal record as long as his arm. Nonetheless, there was really no reason to shoot the guy. It always seems that these incidents are fueled by Racism - whether you are black or white. Whether you are some (black) guy going for a “jog” or some cop and son “out to look for this guy”.
I doubt this country will ever expire Racism. We always keep “repeating the past”. And drawing its ugly head into the future.

More and more I get the sense that Ahmaud Arbery was hunted.
I have the very creepy feeling that father and son knew Amhed and wanted to kill him, I’m guessing that Ahmaud Arbery was a presence in the neighborhood.
And they knew that Ahmaud Arbery jogged,
So, they waited until they had a moment. When the moment appeared they grabbed their guns and pursued him in their truck. When Ahmaud Arbery eluded father and son dad turned around and son got in the bed of the truck, clearly to have a clear shot.
Father and son whacked Ahmaud Arbery. They had the story about following a suspected robber in their pocket as cover. That story, I’m betting, was cooked-up ahead of time.
More and more I think this was a hit.
And of course the first prosecutors knew this was a hit. But lynching a black guy deemed notorious is legal in Georgia, as long as there is no publicly released video tape.

That explains why the guy who filmed the shooting arrested. Was he even part of it, too? I mean, did the father or son “pay” this guy to film it?

Killing this scum bag was obviously the right thing to do, career criminals don’t deserve life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness…this dog got what he deserved.
This case is getting completely out of hand. Now filming a video is enough to get you charged with murder if you don’t go out of your way to help the young aggressive joggers when they attack someone holding a weapon.
“How dare he film the evidence if Arbery grabbing for a gun and the McMichael have thr right to stand their ground”.
This is what happens when cases get politicized.
The charges won’t hold up, GA law is very specific and case law even more specific.
Arbery never had his options of escape taken away which is why the father and son weren’t even charged with false imprisonment.
Even if this guy did somehow limit Arbrey’s ability to flee in his direction intentionally all the kid had to do was turn left or right to get off the roadway.
I just ate a two week TO on another site for calling this what it is, a flawed attempt to act in self defense on the part of the father/son.
Under GA law they had no right to stop him at all because he hadn’t committed a felony and they were not in “fresh pursuit”.
What will come out at trial though I think is that they were acting in coordination with the witness that had seen Arbrey commit the illegal trespass at the home being remodeled and if they can show that they reasonably thought he had potentially burglarized the home, a home in ;which he was recorded on video committing multiple illegal trespasses recently, then their actions are legally justifiable.
If not legally justifiable they were certainly reasonable as long as the pair were acting with that belief.
Bottom line it was overcharged from the beginning, there was no predicate felony to start with as they were not unlawfully using firearms to threaten him, “Brandishing” under GA law, and he always had options for escape, (no false imprisonment).
At worst it’s involuntary manslaughter and that’s how it should have been charged from the beginning.
If they get even an open minded jury much less one that is mildly sympathetic to them a hung jury is almost a certainty and an acquittal on either murder/felony murder, or voluntary manslaughter is definitely possible.
