Lot of people obviously haven’t learned their lessons… from Michael Brown, Trayvon Martin, Jussie Smollett, and a myriad of other “racial” cases where verdicts were decided before evidence came out. From their comments, these individuals with learning difficulties appear to be liberals.

I agree with the OP. This young man was murdered simply because he was black and in the wrong neighborhood. This was an outright racist attack and the murderers weren’t arrested immediately because of their connections to the district attorney. That’s the type of corruption that keeps white murderers off the hook and doesn’t give a person of color who was victimized any justice. Funny, I always thought Justice was supposed to be blind in the United States. Hopefully this will be a chance for justice to be served but everyone must acknowledge that the only reason the murderers were allowed to go home without any charges was because of their white privilege.

The felony murder charges against the McMichaels mean that a victim was killed during the commission of an underlying felony, in this case aggravated assault. The charge doesn’t require intent to kill. A murder conviction in Georgia carries a minimum sentence of life in prison, either with or without parole.
