You think pilots and ground controllers communicate well? Wrong

I always wondered how pilots (who more often than not are non-native English speakers) can communicate with ground controllers (who may or may not be native English speakers). In this case the JFK controller is a native English speaker but pretty slow-witted.

Now that Covid is virtually over, you want to do international traveling and fly to different parts of the world again? Think again.

Conversations between the US ground controllers and foreign pilots sure sound like an English language school.
