I couldnāt disagree more! Russia and Putin are in total control and the offensive they keep talking about is but trickle! The West already knows they lost this war and its only a matter of time before Ukraine is forced to sue for terms with Russia!
Either way one looks at this war, the people always suffer. US is sure to make new enemies.

We definitely have made a few enemies unnecessarily over the past 50 years. I wonder we as a country will be judged by the Ukrainian commoners long after this war has passed? That is if Ukraine is even a country by then.

I respectfully disagree.The Ruskies failed to Kiev when they had the brst chance with complete superiorority.They have lost so many T-70 tanks theyāre taking T-55 and T- 62 tanks out of warehouses and updating them. The Army lacks modern optics for their tanks which costs them on the battlefield.The Army has lost nearly 20 top generals killed and is still in aWW2 mindset on the battlefield costy more unnecessary casualties.Vlad Rasputin has become like Hitler with his defend to the last man and no retreat stance.
Where are you getting this information from? Your numbers and claims is the first time I am hearing of this. I am curious.

I agree. China and Russia alliance is slowly becoming a economic powerhouse leaving the West in the dust. The US now needs to start a war with China in order to stop their ascension to being the next world hegemonic power.

There are currently two outcomes being discussed about the Khromove push.
#1. Wagner has full control over this village and thus have gained fire control over the final supply route into the city.
#2. Wagner pushed into the village and was counter attacked but maintained a foothold in the northern housing.
Both are important developments but i air on the side of caution so #2 until #1 is proven.
Pretty crazy to see this play out in this day in age.
Wagner group has become the top security agency in the world and everyone is studying their tactics!

Russia had no intention of taking Kiev at the very beginning of their āSpecial Military Operation.ā It was a military feint, deception.
Kiev is a large metropolis with the population of 3 million with many suburbs. It was impossible for Russia with its limited number of troops to take this large city, but Russia managed to divert the attention of the rulers in Kiev, while achieving success in the south.
It is never mentioned in the wikipedia, a mouthpiece of the ruling you-know-who, that Kiev comes from the Khazarian word meaning ātrading post.ā Khazars traded with the Slavs on the bank of the Dnieper River.
Khazars were nomadic Asian tribes from northern China / Mongolia who invaded the area after building a huge empire (Gokturk Empire) stretching from the Sea of Japan to the Black Sea in the 6th century.

I just found out my visa was canceled by the Russian embassy. I had plans to travel the 6000 mile trek on the railway system across the Russian tundra this summer. Very disappointed

I have no idea what you are talking about, me and Didge have been following this conflict from the beginning and none of what you are talking about has actually taken place. Sure there were some casualties in the very beginning, but as of right now Ukraine has been losing soldiers on a 8 to 1 ratio and has ran out of ammunition. Not looking good for the West and Ukraine as Russia is about to secure a victory soon.
Eventually Russia may have to take Kiev, after the Ukrainian forces are eliminated. Then Russia need not fight to take Kiev because it has capitulated.
Itās Ukraine and its puppet masters who deceived Russia repeatedly (Minsk agreements and Istanbul talks), and now Russia cannot take them seriously anymore.
