You know, it’s almost comical. EVERY SINGLE TIME that Republicans lose an election, we hear cries for a third party. This is why Democrats keep kicking our ass and/or cheat and we do nothing about it. In this case, I don’t think we lost this election but it doesn’t matter, the results are the same. Trump showed us the path to taking back the Republican party but we cannot give up so quickly. YES, the shit balls like McConnel will go right back to being swamp creatures but did you all miss the transformation of the Republican party when they had to kiss Trump’s ass? I’m not saying Trump needs to run 2024 but we need another in his mold. Brash. Successful. Businessman. Willing to tell the media where to stick it. Willing to tell Democrats to stick it. Willing to get attacked day after day and punch back. We had exactly that during Reagan and the swamp creatures were transformed for a short time but as usual, they revert right back to swamp creatures when you put an asshole like Bush Sr in charge. Reagan was more PC than Trump, no question but he was in the same mold. He laughed at the media rather than attacked them and I think that was more effective.

Think of what we passed and pushed in the House and Senate from 2011 to 2018. When Republicans took the house in 2010 (Jan 2011), spending was sitting at $3.6 Trillion. By 2015, it was STILL at $3.6 Trillion. It was $3.8 Trillion when Trump took over and not including Covid spending, it is now $4.8 Trillion… funny enough, Democrats pushed it from $4.1 Trillion to $4.8 Trillion in TWO YEARS, from 2018 to 2020.
Stop the sky is falling bullshit and take a LOOK at what was passed and WHEN. It’s EXTREMELY important that we do NOT just throw our toys down and throw a tantrum because Democrats stole this election. We have to get back up and push our Congressmen to get off their asses (state and local) and fix the voting laws. What you folks are advocating is the EXACT response the left is BEGGING for. That will give them PERMANENT power and all of the gains we’ve made will be quickly undone. I 100% agree that we need to primary idiots like Cheney. I 100% agree that we should be more aggressive. I 100% agree that we need to fight like hell. I just don’t think creating a third party is the way to do it. I want MY party back and I think we’ve made a lot of progress over the past 10 years. We need to expel Mitch McConnel, Ben Sasse, John Cornyn and people like them. THEY are the issue but guys like Jim Jordan need to be the leaders of this party. Trump is effectively done in my view, more due to age than deeds but we need someone similar with the will to fight for 2024. Don Jr. Jim Jordan. Maybe in the mold of Trump, someone completely disconnected from DC at this point that we don’t know. I’m not sure about Musk, I always thought he was pretty liberal but he moved to Texas and he seems to be taking a stand against the left lately… I just don’t know enough about him yet.
I agree there’s a problem, I’m just tired of election after election of people talking about burning down the Republican party. Reform, ABSOLUTELY.
