Thanks for providing factual and objective data. The fact that our public spending is in line with other countries, but our private spending is insane, demonstrates where the root cause of this problem lies (and it is destroying lives every single day).
When the show Breaking Bad came out, I remember reading an article that talked about how only in America could a show about a high school teacher who gets very sick, and can’t afford his health care, turn to making meth to pay for his treatment and provide for his family…be a massive hit.
