This Is What Pisses Me Off About Trump

Maybe a coincidence, but I’m seeing faint echoes of Montecresto with this one

Trump’s base isn’t growing, it’s shrinking. The last election showed that abundantly.

He has a very small core who will blindly support him no matter what and that’s about it.

Most of the rest of us on the “right” are generally happy with the job he’s done policy wise etc but have no blinders on when it comes to him personally. We see him for who and what he is, not some god like figure who never has and never could do anything wrong.

41 maybe but I don’t think 43 is even in the same league intelligence wise. I much preferred 43 to 41 though as president. At least up until his last 12-18 months I thought 43 was a very good president, his father was never a very good president at all.

The NE blue blood elites gave us Romney by rigging the primaries as they usually do. If we want to take their power away we need to change the calendar so that the earliest primaries are held in places like Texas, Florida, Georgia, N/S Carolina etc.

I was very disappointed in 41. On the face of it, he should have been a good President, and he did shine in his response to the Iraq situation, but as he said himself, he had a problem with “the vision thing.” He had no idea what he wanted to do with the Presidency.

Ever read George Schutz’s book on George I?

Yeah I have to agree with your assessment.

And of course those that get the support of North East elitist snobs gets the funds to continue the fight.

Yep. As for the Gulf War, while I understand his reasoning for not removing Saddam at the time and finishing it, he was absolutely wrong. Even if it meant us going it alone or without much of the coalition it should have been done then.

We could have probably saved four or five trillion and a whole lot of dead and broken bodies had we done so.

That was the biggest example of his lack of vision.

Iowa isn’t a bad place to start as it’s a good measure for the rest of the country but going to the NE from there makes it next to impossible for a good conservative to get the nomination.

If you’re not number one after the 4th primary you’re probably done because as you say the money keeps shifting to the winner.

Cruz did a good job and came close but the field just stayed too divided for too long.

Most people seem to forget that the one thing Trump couldn’t manage through most of the primaries was to win any of them with an actual majority.

Reversing the ACA?
Not ever going to happen. No entitlement program has ever gone away. When the GOP took power the talk was about replacing the ACA. Not ending government interference in healthcare.

One has to only look back at some of the nominees. It truly was Dole’s turn as a reward from the party for years of loyal support. The media supported McCain over Romney we ended up with McCain. Why did the media support McCain? Because at the time Romney may have beat Obama. Romney up next? The media supported Romney until after he was the nominee as they knew Obama could beat Romney. The media totally miscalculated as did the democrats super delegates in choosing Clinton. Everyone thought she was the next president. Surprise, Trump the dark horse candidate beats her.

What I find amazing is that the GOP had it all. Trump in the WH was so distasteful thy totally screwed up and lost the house. Thy will likely lose the WH and possibly the sent unless they unite as a party.

Time will tell.

Sure it is Samm, how do you think Trump got elected? most candidates with any type of scandal except for Bill Clinton didn’t get elected.

Trump proved even with bad publicity he can still win, because he knows how to manipulate the media, that isn’t a dumb person

Hillary couldnt get elected because of bad publicity so is she dumb?

He got caught up in the poeticness of “the 100 hour war.” Things would have worked out far better for his son (and the troops and the country and maybe even for his run at a second term) had he made it the 200 hour war.

He got elected because he was not Hillary. She isn’t dumb, she’s just a horible vile person and everyone knows it, even the Democrats, so vile that she could not even beat someone as vile as Trump.

Presidents from what Ive read gets paid every 3 months, so far he has donated

I’d agree with this. A lot of people have said that Trump was the only 2016 GOP candidate that could have beaten Clinton. I say he’s damned lucky to have run against her, because he was only going to beat someone as equally repulsive as himself.

 you caught me. Yes, I’m a San Francisco lib.

He has the morals of a billy goat, he’s a pathological liar, a thief. He treats his woman like trash. He has the attention span of a gnat and the self control of a 15 year-old boy with a bottle of viagra. He’s an attention whore over-compensating for a level of insecurity rarely seen outside of mental institutions.

He buys and sells people like a stock broker on meth. He neither knows nor cares how the government works or what the Constitution says. He’s a user. A taker. Any seemingly positive thing he does is for his own public image.

He is a NYC dem who worships money and has the taste of a cheap french whore. He is an ill-mannered lout with the manners of an ignorant brute.

He can’t read, he kicks puppies and he smells bad.

Shall I continue?

Okay but besides all that what’s so bad about him?

Hillary Clinton is of the same cloth.

Yes she is. And that is relevant to Trump’s failures how?

Two birds of a feather with one stone.
