This great President puts Pelosi in her place

Paddled that thing all the way from Iwo…

When I was young, after I got back from Vietnam, I hitchhiked the entire lower 48. I was sour on life, and had to clear my head. I was off the radar for about 3 years. Worked at many places. One was the Money Tree casino in Reno. I remember they had a Chinese restaurant. Probably long gone now.

Odd thing about Vegas…I hate the place, and casinos…

But the people who live and work there are as nice as anyplace I’ve ever been.

Not to mention:
Building Less Housing Than People Demand Drives High Housing Costs.
Little Increase in Housing Densities in Coastal Metros.
Why don’t they build more housing:
Community Resistance to New Housing.
Environmental Reviews Can Be Used to Stop or Limit Housing Development.
Limited Vacant Developable Land. Low density housing.

Sometimes people blame it on invisible people when the blame is in their own back yard.

@LouMan For many years now, even the Obama Administration, the Dems only cared one thing - How to get as many votes as possible. They were willing to get dead people, as well, as illegals to vote.

Then comes along Trump, and he was going to change all that - including the face of the Democrat Party. He knew very well what he was getting into when the Dems have been trying to derail him for the past 3 years. It started with the MSM. Making up “fake news” every single day and night. Trying to get the American people to “go to the other side”.
They tried to derail the Kavanaugh Hearings. Then they tried Trump on Impeachment. Then they are trying to pin this Coronavirus on him. As they were putting it: “This is Trump’s Katerina”. (In relations to GWB’s failure on Hurricane Katerina Assistence in 2005.

Nancy Pelosi has been “all over the place” with her stagnant views. She, herself, at times has no clue what she is even saying or doing. She is a mere puppet for her party.

She rather focuses on impeaching Trump, rather than trying to fix her state - California. She probably could care less what happens to it when she is ready to retire.

“Leaders – leaders take responsibility. So I said he’s a weak leader. He doesn’t take responsibility. He places blame – blame on others,” Pelosi said. “And that might have been OK before, but we cannot continue down a path that is, again I’ll come back to science, science, science, evidence, data on how we should go forward.”

Really, House Speaker? And you call yourself a “Leader”? You won’t even go to your own state that is shredding by the day into nothingness, and help fix your state? Instead, you rather rip Trump for handling the crisis?

I give you House Speaker an “F”.

“But we’re way late on it and that is a failure. The president gets an F, a failure on the testing,” Pelosi said. “But Fauci – Dr. Fauci’s right. If it is done properly, it hasn’t been and I – I think when he puts in the ‘if it’s done’ is an admission that it hasn’t been done.”

Your own “admission” is to get Trump. That is all you have to go on. You don’t want to focus on helping the American people get back to work. You don’t want to help the American people - even your own people from your state - focus on getting the economy back.

Even your own “admission” is flawless.

So, I give you House Speaker an “F” for even trying to make this country “Great Again”! You have no intentions to bother to help. You are a selfish, and greedy woman. If you don’t get what you want, you complain. Or if it isn’t enough, you still complain!

How about getting yourself off the crackpipe and maybe, step up and help out. Don’t be an “Enabler”.

Pelosi is on a sinking ship and somewhere in her black heart she knows it.

Trump just keeps giving her the rope to hang herself and she’s doing a great job of it. Over, and over and over again. You’d think she’d clue in but she’s so entrenched in la la land that she can’t quite seem to grasp the concept.

Yep! And “The Squad” are capsizing her “Ship of Dreams”.

Focusing on only one incompetnt in American government, academia, the judicial system, the corporate world or Wall Street is like focusing one’s complete attention on a microscope while your world is exploding around you. Ever since Ike, we’ve had presidents who have been either lunatics, sociopaths, corporate lap dogs, idiots with PHDs totally lacking in common sense, traitors (most of them) or outright criminals who should have either been locked up or executed. While our presidents have been selling us down the river for personal gain while shipping our precious jobs overseas and turning us into a country that produces nothing but Madison Avenue BS, our acedemic community has been doing their best to convince us that cultural diversity creates unity without the need to find a cultural common ground. Meanwhile, the paralysis by analysis legal scholars have created a system whereby wealhty criminals and thumbs up their butt ideologues who have kidnapped our courtrooms, making it virtually impossible to achieve justice for the honest multitudes of poor and middle class citizens.

Having lived my entire life in within twenty miles of Manhattan I have witnessed what investment bankers have done to the Metropolitan area, artificially raising the price of living through the insane willingness to use real estate as their means to invest in luxury housing. For every million dollars the cost of an apartment in Manhattan that rises per year, the trickle effect takes place raising the price of housing in an outward circle and making it impossible for all but a few first home buyers to buy a house or condo. In effect, these elitists have created a two-tier economy that is very real, one for the rich, whether their American or not, and one for the rest of us.

Both liberal and conservative ideologues hate because each side thinks I’m the other, when in reality I have no side other than my own and that happens to be different than any of them are aware enough to realize. I started analyzing the news and politics when I was eight years old, probably because that is exactly what my very politically involved father did, as well as two of my grandparents. My family had been Republican since the Civil War and yet my grandfather was an influential member of the milkman’s union and my father admitted that he and dozens of his Republican friends were seriously thinking about voting for a socialist during the Great Depression. Like them, I first think about what makes sense for me and my family at any particular time, and then what makes sense for the country as a whole. The are intertwined actually, because without a healthy country, how can my family and I remain healthy, both physically and financially? Obviously, our country isn’t healthy and hasn’t been for a long time, otherwise, how could we have pissed away every advantage that we’ve had over the entire world since the end of the Second World War? I’ll tell you how, having traitors, idiots and criminals in every important leadership position that we have. That’s how.

Great first post. I think this entire pandemic situation is starting to wake America up to the fact that we have been sold out by both parties for an incredibly long time.

This pandemic has shown me that what I thought America could handle with ease isn’t really the case anymore. That’s because exactly what you described has happened. Every single advantage that America has had is now suddenly gone and we are left with incompetent morons at every level of government and I am sick and tired of it. Our resources have been sold off to the cheapest bidder and our ability to sustain ourselves through self-sufficiency is all but gone. We are now completely dependent upon countries that hate us and the financial sector continues to receive bailout after bailout while small businesses get the shaft. It’s garbage

Why is selling residential property to foreigners legal?

Been asking that question for the past 20 years!

I’m no economist, but it may have something to do with our yearly trade deficit. What will foreigners do with all of those dollars?

Welcome to this site “Rebel”

You succinctly articulate a perfect summation how we are here in the now as Americans. It’s a sad commentary but it is true. I am afraid that the cause and the effect dichotomy of Karma is a spotty record for the nation as a whole and we are now reaping what we sow. Where we go next is really up to the “We the People”. What makes the latter challenging is that the populace has been conditioned to becoming apathetic and is the impetus that has given way to the graft we are now seeing at all levels of our institutions that you so lucidly illuminate upon. Looking at oneself in search for the soul is hard to do, but a necessary endeavour if we as a nation are to hope to be in a better place in the future.

Edit:

The Progression of Democracy

This election may very well be the last chance we have to turn the tide back against the ever increasing entitlement leftist state being forced upon us.

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior:

“A democracy is always Temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent Form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until The time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous Gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority Always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from The public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a Dictatorship.”

"The average age of the world’s greatest civilizations from the Beginning of history, has been about 200 years. During those 200 Years, these nations always progressed through the following sequence:

From bondage to spiritual faith; From spiritual faith to great courage; From courage to liberty; From liberty to abundance; From abundance to complacency; From complacency to apathy; From apathy to dependence; From dependence back into bondage."

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota,
points out some interesting facts concerning the previous Presidential election between Romney and Obama in 2012:

Number of States won by: Obama: 19 Romney: 29 Square miles of land won by: Obama: 80,000 Romney: 2,427,000
Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million
Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 Romney: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In the aggregate, the map of the territory Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low Income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare…

" Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the “complacency and apathy” phase of Professor Tyler’s definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation’s population already having reached the governmental dependency" phase… If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million Criminal invaders called illegal’s - and they vote - then we can say Goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

And never forget these quotes:

“Once you decide to do good with other people’s money you are committed to the use of force”. - Friedman "

Force always attracts men of low morality." – Albert Einstein

“Overwhelm the system and replace it with one based on “Social Justice” not Individual Liberty.” - Alinsky.

Imagine if every press conference Obama had was filled with 90% right-wing outlets like Bretibart, FoxNews, DailyCaller, GatewayPundit, Epoch Times, etc, – and they were all competing with each other to see who could be more right-wing and get in the biggest insult on Obama

There’d be like two seats for NPR & NYT, both allowed 1 question each, 90% of the rest of the questions would be “Mr. President, why are you such a communist ■■■■■■■■■ “Mr. President, given that you’re a gay muslim traitor, do you think you owe America an apology?” - how long do you think the Left would allow that?
