Any person who goes through a confirmation hearing process is vetted by all ranking members with a thorough back ground investigative process in order to qualify for top level security clearance. I have to ask again, are you really that dense that you don’t know this? OR are you mentally challenged as well like your friend Pragmatic? Or better yet, are you and Pragmatic regular trolls here and are actually the same person with different names? I have to wonder!

Sessions was vetted, and members of the committee had questions, likely turned up by their vetting process. They asked them at the confirmation hearing, as the constitution requires them to do.
Should they not have vetted Mr. Sessions? Should they not have asked him questions?
Would you rather Mr. Sessions was not subject to inquiry as part of his confirmation process?

All of them. The Investigation would not have existed without use of the fake dossier in the FISA warrant. You are beyond uninformed.
Or who Obama appointments were! Obama weaponized both institutions so the cancer still is there. I was always of the mind set, using an analogy that you can appreciate Asaratis; like stripping a car to the frame to treat the corrosion before full restoration, the same should be done with the State Department, FBI, and the DOJ in order to get rid of the ideologues that were Obama plants. I wanted the FBI torn down and replaced with the Federal Marshall Service until the FBI could be built back up. I guess the latter was too much to ask for, then the appointment of Wary happened which IMO was a very big disappointment! Why? Because of this…

The dossier isn’t referenced in a single indictment I’ve seen. The FISA warrant wasn’t based on the dossier. It was based on Carter Page having suspicious contacts with Russians

Turns out the investigation wasn’t based on Carter Page and at least part of the Steele Dossier was used to get warrants. Oops. 
I even specifically mentioned what started the investigation earlier and you still blew it. Talk about beyond clueless.

You are truly dense. Even the FBI has admitted that without the dossier, there would have been no FISA warrant. No FISA warrant, no investigation. No investigation, no perjury traps. No perjury traps, no convictions for lying to the FBI.
The dossier does not have to be mentioned in an indictment.

Nothing to be sorry about, but the way I see it in order to advance you have to play to upper management internal politics, kiss the right asses. Now I’m not saying all of are, but most of them. Unless you play the game their way you will never advance through the system…or else you find yourself in Alaska or some other rural post.
And longer that system remains in place, more solid their positions become until it becomes institutionalized and thus harder to be replaced. Which is what we are witnessing today IMO.
