Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.
In America, the Democrats lecture against the southern border wall as being useless and shut down thier almighty Government to prevent one being built while Obama builds a wall around his new house.
Millions of lives will be lost just to try to claw out of the muck they make and reset.
Rare is the politician that can unwind the evil twisted weave, Reagan, Thatcher, Churchill… That is why they are revered by the people.

So true! At some point things converge to a violent confrontation as another paradigm shift progresses to re-balance the natural order of things!

Why all the sudden interest and nominations? When we were at Freebird, why did all these people not join in the conversation when it was open to all? RH at Freebird had been going from August to December and only a few weeks here. I think for now this space should be limited to those who were active in RH Freebird.

Us Brits may be repressed when it comes to raw violence, but we are not repressed in other things - we are not prudes and we don’t blush easily! 
Funny story: I once worked with a guy who couldn’t complete a sentence without several cuss words and slang. A very smart guy, but rough around the edges. I knew that he worked for years in Kazakhstan, so one time I asked him how he communicated with the locals. He said “I learned to cuss in Russian”
All is not lost. Our Home Secretary, Sajid Javid, an ex Muslim from Rochdale called the Muslim paedophiles “sick Asian paedophiles.” He said it was important to state where these people are from and their background. He also did not stand in the way of some recent extraditions of Muslims to the US. I find that quite poignant especially in light of what happened in Austria and the ECHR not long ago when someone called Mohammad a paedophile.
I was wary of Sajid Javid when he first took on the role of HM, but for once I think the government has played a blinder in appointing him as no one can accuse him of racism.

The only major difference I see is that at Freebird, The Rabbit Hole was a single thread in the Lounge. Here it is a group…and has three active threads, with the possibility of more to follow.
I can’t go back to Freebird and check dates, but IIRC RTchoke joined FB shortly before we moved.
Keeping it old school.

Why? What logic is there in that? RT Choke was on a break (not actively participating) from the Community when the group migrated to Freebird so he was not thought of by those who invited others to join so he was not there to migrate over to this site. He has recently come back to the Community and was immediately invited into the Conservative Fireside Chat there and invited into the Bullpen. Inviting him into the Rabbit Hole and the Lounge are logical steps.
