In case you don’t remember, at his first campaign rally after the election, but before he was inaugurated, rally goers began chanting “lock her up” just as they had throughout the campaign, and he told them “NO! That was just for the campaign, we don’t care about that anymore”
Before he had his own trusted security guards, that he had for years, he could rest easy.
Since he became POTUS the deep doodoo state forced him to rely only on the secret service.
That didn’t work out for Kennedy as I recall.

I’m satisfied that the presidential secret service detail is far better trained and equipped then Trumps hired guns.
Private security would have made no difference in the Kennedy assassination. The open car was the fatal mistake.
Defending against a well hidden sniper is nearly impossible.

Technology has really cleaned up the Zapruder footage and you can now see Kennedy clutch his throat and slump forward (as a bullet passes through his neck) immediately followed by his head being thrust backwards as he’s hit by a bullet from the front, quite likely from one or both occupants in the front seat, as you point out.
One thing certain is that the official conclusion is complete bs. Oswald…

The guy sounds like a terrible and whiny loser. 
I was a 5 year old when I watched the execution of Kennedy on the news. The TV would show his fatal motorcade going by and be shot dead but even then as a child I thought if he was shot from a building behind why did his head go back?! I had seen many westerns and military movies and shows by then that the head goes back cause of the bullet’s velocity when hit from the front. It didn’t add up unless he was bushwhacked by more than one. The government said it was Oswald. Then Oswald, who stated he was the patsy, meaning the fall guy, was ambushed by Ruby, live too. Then Ruby died too. No loose ends. If the government lied about the killing of a popular president what else have they lied about?
Yep, even in the original grainy images of the Zapruder footage you could see his head fly backwards, an absolute indication of having been hit in the front. I too always disbelieved the government conclusion on that alone.
What is now apparent in the computer enhanced imagery is that before the bullet that strikes his head, the president can be seen bringing his arm up to clutch his throat as he slumps forward (Jackie can be seen looking suddenly at him like what’s wrong) and then he is blown backwards by the bullet that hits his head.
There’s not a lot of movement with that first shot, he just rather slumps forward as he raises his hand to his throat. That would be consistent with a bullet passing through soft tissue and not striking any large bone material.
That to me tells of a cross fire attack from back and front. But who, why, why cover ups, who can say with any certainty. Last I saw there are around 350 theories on it.
All I know with any certainty is that the government’s official conclusion is utter bs.
Btw, it didn’t end with Oswald and Ruby’s murders, in the ensuing decade some 1000 people died and or disappeared in mysterious ways.
