Good for him. The punk deserved it. Too bad Buzz will be sued. I hope he doesn’t face charges for it.
It wasn’t too many years ago when calling a man a liar and a coward could initiate a duel to the death.
Getting a punch in the face is mild by comparison…and should be expected. The purpose of calling a man a liar and a coward is to intimidate him. The bastard got less than he deserved.
Screw this denier.
I was going to post almost the same…Used to be a man could throw a punch to someone like that and not only would he not be subject to a lawsuit or charges filed, but he’d be applauded for doing it. The reporter type would be shamed by everyone.
That is why people kept themselves in check. Because people wouldn’t put up with that crap.
Or you just think he is a liar and have to be prepared to take the flak for saying it.
Round Of Applause for Poland ! I think Sweden is even more of a basket case than us.
I sat watching the TV from the moon on '69
I believe they were there and I don’t believe that they had the technology to make such a convincing fake, so I believe it was real.
… so why would Dr. Aldrin not simply put his hand on the bible and say that he walked on the Moon?
Honest people get called liars every day.
No one should have to take an oath just because some asshole doesn’t believe what they say without it.
The only reason we take oaths in court and before Congress is to legally implement a charge of perjury in case of a lie being told. The oath itself does not prove honesty is forthcoming.
I watched it too live on a b&w tv.
2001 a space odyssey was made in April 1968 by director Stanley Kubrick.
Kubrick made Eyes Wide Shut and quickly died after that.
???
Look!
What is this?
What’s wrong with that fucked up video? It’s supposed to be 29 minutes…runs for about 30 seconds…
I remember watching the lunar lander camera shots as the thruster spread lunar dust out from under the craft.
This idiot seems to think the surface of the moon is covered with a coating of dust several feet thick.
Additionally, rocket thrust from a landing would spread dust radially away from the center point and off the tops of the landing pads and merely clean off a layer of dust beneath the craft.
I think this idiot envisions what happens when one shakes up one of those winter wonderland snow scenes in a liquid filled glass ball…the “snow” settles all over the bottom surface.
Ok, I am prepared to believe that there was some back-up material because, as I said, the technology to properly shoot and relay video was very flaky in those days. Also the signal:noise ratio would have been challenging.
However, to all those who believe that there should have been a hanging cloud of dust at the landing site … there is no atmosphere on the moon in which the dust could ‘hang’. So any such disturbed material would behave exactly like a bucket of pebbles and simply fall back to the surface.
From the Shining
Unfortunatly the censor rats have deleted the youtube videos.
237,000 miles between Earth and the moon
But you think they had the technology to fly there?? In those days wasn’t the Dakota the state of the art?
Exactly? unless he is a devout Christian and will not lie?
So why doesn’t Buzz sue for defamation?
Why is the center of the photo brighter than the rest of the field?
Why is the rock in the back (to the left) reflecting light?
It ain’t the sun. (It’s a big studio light, maybe about 50 feet above)
This was when I really started to ask questions.
‘‘we don’t have the technology to go to the moon anymore because NASA destroyed all the 1960s technology’’
Wouldn’t that be a bit like saying we can’t drive anymore coz we destroyed the technology to make an IC engine???
