I think you can take it a couple of ways having read again but ultimately the writer of the piece supports Trump and The Wall. I think the talk about it being about race is kind of saying, so what if it is and it’s not racist as in the norm for racism. Meaning a wall is the symbol of stopping any further diversity, just as proper immigration control does. The white man is always getting it in the pants for not wanting whites to be the next DODO.
That’s sad but all extreme sport has risk. You Ski Nuts know that !!!

Yeah I don’t see it as about race, either do the majority of Americans who are for the wall. Our population is diverse enough than to turn it into a welfare state for the worlds problems. Americans for the most part, the ones at least who are honest working tax payers are tired of having to pay for people who blatantly break our laws, murder our citizens, steal from and take advantage of the system we pay into and while they contribute nothing. That is the real issue, as well as the Democrats putting Americans at risk so they can game the system to their advantage by simply ignoring securing our borders and enforcing the laws! Race has nothing to do with it!

I don’t know if the recent study from Harvard that has that cost at 250 billion dollars a year as a close approximate estimate then no I don’t consider myself lucky! That is no small number to sneeze at!

Do you give them cash to spend on whatever they wish (not food stamps), free houses, schooling, all their healthcare needs, cars? Do you give them a free pass to break the law, rape children and preach their dangerous crap? And do you have to have them live close by to you because there is no space left? Yes you might and many others. My take was the writer believes it (the wall) to be the last stand with regard to diversity overload and that it should not be a problem for him to state that is his reason for wanting the wall. Of course he may actually want it for the reasons you mention too. Anyway I just posted for another perspective and it didn’t translate as lib tosh to me.
