Other than those initial reports of people being held I haven’t seen anything else reported. I thought with you raising the topic again there have been developments.

I’m just a dumb country boy, but it seems to me the NY senate is no different than hitler, stalin or mao and their henchmen. There was wild applause and hand shakes all around when the murder bill passed the NY senate.

I don’t know that’s what I’m saying. I know they holding Canuck citizens based on some bullshit about national security and it appears it is defo a tit for tat because Canada holding the Hauwei guy as he is wanted In USA. I don’t know if Canada have thrown him over the border into the States or what the hell as gone on. Talk of swaps etc some kind of deal ? When you referred to it earlier I thought there had been some obvious escalation good or bad. When I’ve searched haven’t found anything later than about 28th Dec on the subject. Well for starters the person that is under house arrest in Canada is a women, CFO for Huawei named Meng Wan Zhou. The reason she was arrested is because she was caught using a scheme to circumvent Iran sanctions, and an arrest warrant was issued in SDNY and Canada shares a extradition treaty with the US. Canada and Turd o are in a really tough spot right now, either they fk over the USA and get screwed six ways until tomorrow or Canada decides to hand over Meng Wan Zhou to US authorities and say fuck the drug dealer let him die. As far the other two, China is at its own peril at how they will play that out, but they are not doing themselves any favours when another Huawei employee was just arrested in Poland for espionage! Not good and I certainly am not going to let a communist country have access to my mobile network as they try to sell countries on the idea of 5g while trying to gain an advantage! That is really crazy when you think about the amount of tech they have already stolen and now we are going to want to give them a free pass into our house to steal more? As far as I am concerned China can go fuck themselves! I don’t want anything they are selling! They are the problem not the solution!
