Do our degenerate elites get a mental high from pushing horrific policies on the populations they are supposed to serve? I think so.

Fraudulent, interest-bearing banking system.
Once humanity learns to call a fraud a fraud, the elite are no more.
As long as humanity thinks big fat bank accounts are the measures of wealth, there will always be (relatively) rich and poor segments of the society pointing fingers at each other, while the super-rich laugh all the way to the bank.
