The OFFICIAL UNOFFICIAL MURDAUGH MURDER TRIAL VERDICT THREAD!

Make a guess, give a reason, then wait for the final verdict.

A. GUILTY
B. NOT GUILTY
C. MISTRIAL (Hung Jury, Mistrial requested and granted by the judge)

I say NOT GUILTY because the state withheld exculpatory evidence in getting the indictment from the grand jury.

I’m torn, definitely did it, but was a great witness. C.

This. Because this always kills a case and the prosecutor screwed the pooch on this one. However most likely C

Similar circumstances in the Freddie Grey case, when the state withheld exculpatory evidence and all were acquitted.

The jurors did exactly as they were charged to do… They chose not to trust the defendant and not to believe parts of his testimony.

The prosecution did a shitty job and “got away with murder!”

He maintained that he was visiting his mother, who had advanced Alzheimer’s disease, at the time of the killings, Murdaugh testified that he was the voice captured by Paul in a Snapchat video at 8:45 p.m. just five minutes before experts believe the young man and his mother were gunned down.

Interesting how he visited someone who had memory issues ad could not testify.

He should have never taken the stand.

The judge allowed far too much character assassination in way too much stuff for appeal !! the asswipe did it but this shit will continue for years !!!

" Rule 404 is titled “Character Evidence ; Other Crimes, Wrongs, or Acts”. In essence, this rule states that a person’s character should not be used as evidence to prove that the person acted on the basis of that character."

Unfortunately he admitted he was there on the stand. The jury probably convicted him in minutes and sat around eating popcorn to avoid the rush to judgment game.

This judge is bias and by race. He’s abhorrent.

Just saw this docu-series in the Netflix catalog. I am now intrigued to watch it!

Did you hear about this recent case in Hong Kong?

Yes! This is pretty bizarre even for Hong Kong standards. Its all over the news.

The defense team said the appeal will be filed next week . The 404b rule was the main issue .

You kill people and seek release on a technicality.

Evil is evil matter where you are in the world.

Apparently this was over an apartment that Choi owned and was going to sell. Her ex-husbands parents were living in it and knew they would have to move once the flat sold. So when she didn’t show up to pick up her kid from school one day that is when the investigation began. The Police caught something on CCTV and the entire story unraveled from there. Her brother inlaw was also a retired cop who along with his family planned her murder for months prior to murdering her. They rented out a place and brought in equipment so that they could saw her body into small parts. Finding her head in a soup pot was the gruesome discovery.

Alex will never be released from prison he has multiple financial fraud cases coming up which he admitted to under oath , at the very least he will be sentenced to 25 years for , he is 64 today , so he would be 90 by then . Remember he was a prosecutor so was his dad and granddad and put a lot of people in prison they would welcome his presence .

He definitely gets released, most on the appeals board were probably connected to that family, maybe gets a jury where the judge doesn’t kick off jurors they are bias towards. Finically stuff water under the bridge

He was forced by the late introduction of Paul’s video evidence to explain why he lied to LEO many times about not being at the kennels that evening.

His excuse for lying was pathetic. The only remorse he had concerning that repeated lie was that he got caught…ironically by a video made by one of his victims.

Despite SLED screwing up the investigation, the jury got it right. The sleazy bastard blew his son’s head to pieces with a shotgun and shot his wife repeatedly with a high powered rifle.

He should have received the death penalty.
