The Notre Dame cathedral is burning, and ‘it feels like the end of the world’

He’s behaving like we haven’t already been called all of these things for the better part of a decade. He will soon learn that we don’t have any more political solutions to these problems - and there are millions of us who have been preparing for that day. It’s almost here.

Do you want me to police the entire internet now? Kind of a big job. I think I’ll pass on that unpaid internship thanks.

You realize that nothing is forever. Hope does not rely on things or buildings, it relies on the beauty of the spirit and the miracles each day holds.

You face this reality because it is what it is. We all feel the loss of such a historical and beautiful work of art. However, your life will not be affected by this one way or another.

I visited Notre Dame. I sat in the carved chairs and felt overwhelmed by the history. It was breathtaking. But, you know what? Lots of history has been tragically lost over the millenium.

Life goes on.

A shameful response. Consider it better.

I am wondering about the archives and works of art as well. Are there not catacombs beneath that store relics, ossuaries?

I am so tired of this reactionary thinking. Sure, some Muslims are going to be delighted that it burned, especially just prior to Easter. “Wooo wooo woo” they are going to say it is “blah blah blah” a symbol that Christianity is dying or whatever they can come up with.

So what and who cares what they say or think. Retards abound in every country and religion.

Was it an attack on Christendom? Can you prove that?

How about you wait until we find out what the actual cause was?

In the meantime, what has your outrage done to help those who are actually suffering at the actual and proven hands of attacks on Christians?

They were working on the roof. It only takes one worker with jihadist convictions to make an ‘error’. Plenty available in France, which has been fucked up by decades of Islamic immigration, imposed upon the French people by globalists and crazy leftists.

But…you are right…nothing has been proved.

Why would you do that?

I thought you believed in “freedom of speech”. Isn’t that why you are here?

So, for one poster you disagree with you will what? Spam and disrupt a board with people who have no clue as to what your “retribution” is about?

If you have something to say, say it here. Fight your ground here. If you can’t do that then in my opinion, threatening to disrupting another board because you can’t hold your own is a real chicken shit move.

A realistic response.

Consider what you are doing right now and what you are doing tomorrow.

Your life isn’t going to change because Notre Dame burned.

Get over yourself.

Fuck off, ■■■■■ You don’t dictate shit to me.

No doubt, Jeff.

If it turns out to be intentional then that is a bridge that needs to be crossed. Rationally and methodically, not emotionally.

Sure, Ash. Because you know and I know that your life hasn’t changed one iota.

But, you can stir up some shit behind your keyboard while dinner is cooking.

As I said, get over yourself.

Just in the last year, there have been DOZENS of incidents of vandalism and arson striking Catholic churches across France. More than forty incidents were reported in February of this year alone. 40!

I lay the complete blame for this on the cult of “cultural enrichment” and “diversity”. You let animals walk the streets of your cities with their backwards religions and myopic views on “idolatry” (which is what they consider most Catholic iconography - including the Virgin Mary - to be), THIS is what is going to happen.

Don’t worry. It will be rebuilt as a mosque!

Who has been proven responsible and what is being done about it?

I lay the blame on “globalist” politicians. They are easy enough to remove in America. Yet, here they are. Year after year.

Anyone on this thread who is saying that Muslims aren’t responsible are either naive or not paying attention. The ‘usual suspects’ have been trying to destroy this cathedral for years. Here’s an article from 3 years ago showing that what happened today is nothing new, it’s just the first time they succeeded.

I’m not worried at all.

I, like many, feel a profound sense of loss.

What I am not going to do is jump to conclusions before all of the facts are in.
