Translation: You do not intend to answer, since the answer would be uncongenial to the views of most…
Lol, you think that I have any concern about being perceived as “uncongenial” by the scant PB membership….
And no, we’re not going to address your irrelevant hypothetical intended as a distraction from your own uneasiness in addressing US statecraft that has precipitated the mess that now exists in Ukraine……
There are quite a few Ukrainian immigrants in Canada.
Nonetheless, they are not rich banksters and political movers and shakers, so it is hoped that average Canadians choose to stay away from Europe’s problems.
And, Estonia has now called for a NFZ in Ukraine…… So, first NATO country to make the call……
The price of sanctions! LMAO! This is going to leave a mark!
Sounds about right and its disgusting. The people behind this perpetuity at the expense of peoples lives are disgusting evil POS and deserve whatever retribution they have coming to them!
Those voices are silent because the western motive is to create a long-term insurgent war in Ukraine. The geopolitical system views this as an existential battle against Russia. Both sides in this conflict view this as a zero-sum contest. The NATO alliance doesn’t view Volodymyr as a hero, he’s a tool. If Zelenskyy were to walk toward a negotiated ceasefire, the bullet that kills him would come from the rear. That’s how corrupt this conflict is.
Yep, blatantly obvious…
Another thing to point out, and not intended to minimize the toll on the Ukrainian population and infrastructure presently. But the handwringing on western media right now that has been telling its viewers for two weeks that the destruction, death and refugee status in Ukraine has not been seen in Europe since WW2 is simply western propaganda as the Yugoslavia/NATO wars in the 90’s in Europe created far more death and destruction than what we’ve seen to date in Ukraine.
Also, if only looking at the first US led gulf war in Iraq, far more damage was done to the civilian population and infrastructure, some of which was targeted, than what we’ve seen in Ukraine to date……
The second Iraq war was harder yet on civilian populations and infrastructure……
The strategic bombing of Iraq, described in wartime briefings as a campaign against Baghdad’s offensive military capabilities, now appears to have been broader in its purposes and selection of targets.
Amid mounting evidence of Iraq’s ruined infrastructure and the painful consequences for ordinary Iraqis, Pentagon officials more readily acknowledge the severe impact of the 43-day air bombardment on Iraq’s economic future and civilian population. Their explanations these days of the bombing’s goals and methods suggest that the allies, relying on traditional concepts of strategic warfare, sought to achieve some of their military objectives in the Persian Gulf War by disabling Iraqi society at large.
And there it is!
It’s the Kiev junta that places artillery in inhabited areas, apartment complexes, etc, and Russia has no choice than to counterattack.
NATO bombed Serbian infrastructure, bombed bridges, destroying civilian life. But as of today, life in Kiev is “normal,” buses and subway trains are running, electricity is on, shops are open, etc. Russia obviously is trying to take out the regime, no more no less.
As for Iraq, I am interested to get the info how many Iraqis were killed trying to get the hell out of Kuwait and met their death on the “Highway of Death”. Perhaps tens of thousands. This happened around this time of year — Jewish festival of Purim which is also on this coming full moon. Bush was Jewish, you know.
Correct, I understand this. The loss of life is still however tragic. Even soldiers btw…
My big bitch, dismissed by most here, and most Americans generally, is that in Iraq alone, the US killed 200,000 civilians….the body count, and the manner in which they were tallied, is a matter of documentation.
The difference is, that the American press, NONE of it, covered the civilian killings by US and coalition bombs….The American press never showed you 6 times throughout the day as “new footage” the same building, the civilian buildings, civilian infrastructure that was destroyed (particularly during shock and awe) by US and coalition bombs……
WHY??? Because that was the Americans and our ally’s bombing civilian infrastructure and killing innocent men, women and children…
FUCK AMERICAS USFP relevant to our wars…….
And yes, I know what NATO bombed in the Yugoslav wars and I’ve posted several different times the tally of civilian lives we killed in that war……
And once again, Americans, Americans anywhere, don’t want to talk about that, or even think about it. So instead, they say we didn’t kill civilians…
Russia has left the so called human rights group, the Council of Europe……
May as well as obviously that group hasn’t kept a very good eye on western countries who have committed atrocities against humanity.
First, we killed half a million children in Iraq with our sanctions against the country, then we came in and killed another 200,000 (the lowest estimate) with our bombs….
So where was all the hand wringing while that was going on……
Well, that was Americans killing brown people in Muslim country’s, no harm done.
Today, it’s Russia killing white peoples in a Christian country……
Lesley Stahl on U.S. sanctions against Iraq: We have heard that a half million children have died. I mean, that’s more children than died in Hiroshima. And, you know, is the price worth it?
Secretary of State Madeleine Albright: I think this is a very hard choice, but the price–we think the price is worth it.

Again the fking in house moron doesn’t know what the fuck they are talking about!
Hey asshole! Why don’t go ahead quote another CNN, BBC, or MSNBC source!
Well the Israeli government certainly has been at times.
And certainly, the creation of the Israeli state is dubious, and came at the expense of Palestinians, the inhabitants of the land that were forced out to make way for the ■■■■■■ state….
Wonder if your Jesus would have supported this……
May 15 is a date etched onto the Palestinian psyche. It marks the commemoration of the ‘Nakba’ – the ‘catastrophe’ of 1948 – during which over 700,000 Palestinians were forcibly displaced, and over 500 Palestinian villages were destroyed amidst the violent establishment of the Israeli state.May 20, 2021
And that dumb ass Kamala Harris thinks Ukraine is a NATO country…….
While Pelosi thinks that we should give Ukraine MIG’s to kill Russians with……of course so does Lindsey Graham……
