ALL dems voted NO on the impeachment and once again WITH the help of 4 RINO’s …
There were four Republicans who voted no tonight against impeaching Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Reps. Mike Gallagher (R-Wis.), Tom McClintock (R-CA), Ken Buck (R-Colo.) and House Vice Conference Chairman Blake Moore (R-Utah) – a member of the Republican leadership.
But Moore’s “nay” vote against impeaching Mayorkas deserves an asterisk. He’s not really against impeaching Mayorkas. Moore voted no so the Republican effort to impeach Mayorkas could live to fight another day.
This result is a harbinger of the future of the Republican’s disarray and infighting. Remember for the first two years of Trump’s administration, the Republican’s held a majority in both the Senate and the House. They couldn’t get much done because of a failure to work together to achieve goals.
This should be a bipartisan issue as majority of Americans both Republican and Democrat know there has been a dereliction of duty when it comes to the Border. Yeah those Republicans should be voted out, but these Democrats are not representing their constituents and that’s a shame.
There is no way to sugarcoat this: Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas surviving an impeachment push by the House GOP last night was a massive body blow. After months of gearing up for this vote, there were signs of trouble ahead, especially when Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) came out against the effort last week. House Republicans have next to no room for any defections. It was already a razor-thin majority coming into this current session—it’s been whittled further since then. That’s how Mr. Mayorkas, the Mexican drug cartels favorite government official in Washington, survived: scum Republicans defected and joined House Democrats in voting down the measure
After a dramatic scene on the floor where leaders tried to whip votes, the roll call ended in a rare 215-215 tie. A member of GOP leadership***,Rep. Blake Moore, R-Utah, changed his vote to no at the last minute*
Republican Rep. Ken Buck said the “principle is very clear” for why he joined Democrats in voting against the resolution to impeach Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas: The secretary did not commit a high crime or misdemeanor.
“In my view, it’s always a mistake to impeach a president, Cabinet official or anybody else on a party-line vote," Buck told CNN.
Buck said he is disappointed that there is still a way forward “because we are setting new levels — low levels for these impeachments,” Buck said.
“It is not the way we should be going when we need to solve the difficult problems that we have in this country,” he added.
Instead Buck does nothing as he leaves a footnote in history.
I guess this asshole feels putting a Country in debt and allowing terrorist into the Country is acceptable . Costing taxpayers billions upon billions and disregarding our LAWS work for him . Fucking braindead republican !!!
