This has already happened to varying degrees, but a newly elected city councilwoman from Denver just came right out and addressed the elephant in the room. Socialists have always been in the United States. Glenn Beck isn’t exactly breaking any news. During the Cold War the Soviets talked all about using their assets in academia and the media to their advantage in order to subvert American culture long-term.

Exactly, with the caveat that socialists in America are democratic, and not to be confused with the authoritarian socialists of Eastern Europe and elsewhere of the past. All Americans that have supported the system of collective taxation to fund public schools, hospitals, reservoirs, roads, airports, libraries, fire and rescue, national guard, coast guard, military, Medicare, social security, the list is voluminous, support social democracy whether they comprehend the fact or not.
That is propaganda nonsense, believed only by imbeciles. Socialism is the opposite of democratic, and Bernie Sanders is a senile boob if he thinks he is fooling anybody with those stupid word games. You might as well talk about Democratic Nazism, which would make about just as much sense
