Should Trump refuse to leave office?

Back to the OP - Trump will either be 1. re-elected; 2 impeached; 3 decide not to run, 4 be defeated.

Personally, I think he will be re- elected. It will once again be the idiot who brought prosperity vs. the idiot who wants to crater the economy and turn your neighborhood into a ghetto, barrio or some other form of trash-pile.

The Dems are now taking their marching orders from the likes of AOC, and mullah Omar; they offer three things: endless investigations, pro illegal immigration policies, and higher taxes - MUCH higher taxes- in part to pay Black people reparations for what happened to those long dead.

Oh, and I almost forgot- add endless encouragement race/class hatreds - after all, when you have no coherent policy…

Hardcore Progs love it, Indivisible types love it, and mooching layabouts love it. Young people are naïve and have been raised to see themselves as brilliant victims who will save the world - too much anime growing up, perhaps. Progs get a lot of press because those in the press are just like them minus the pink hair and 40 lbs. of blubber. If you believed MSNBC you’d think we are on the verge of another ‘velvet revolution’ - we aren’t. Trump will win by a greater margin than in 2016, not because he is universally loved, but because anyone with a triple digit IQ knows the Dems will end that prosperity.

Why bother when “Sanctuary States” won’t enforce them anyway? I’ve got a better idea. How about we kick “Sanctuary States” out of the union for openly violating the Constitution instead?

Not ability. Constitutionally enumerated power. Naturalization and Immigration into this Country are solely the purview of the Federal Government. The same Federal Government that is charged with defending these “Sanctuary States” from incursions and/or invasions.

Yep, that was among the dumbest and most unthinking posts I’ve seen anywhere in a very long time.

When polled you’ll find between 70-80% or more of both identify as conservatives and more importantly the next civil war in the US won’t be fought between states, it will be fought between neighbors and neighborhoods.

War almost always breaks down to a simple matter of math and who has the most guns.

Who has the most guns and the willingness to use them?

That lie is old and tired and cannot be supported by any fact.

Every illegal in the US is guilty of at least one crime, entering the US illegally. Every illegal in the US that has done so more than once is a felon.

Crime is generally extremely low among legal immigrant populations and that is supported by the numbers, the rest is a a bold faced lie.

Unlike crimes committed by legal immigrants and citizens every crime committed by an illegal was completely preventable if the gov’t would simply perform it’s most basic function which is to establish, maintain, and secure our borders.

no arguments from me on this one TWR

Didn’t expect one, just playing off of your ball.

A lot of good posts simply act as a good opening for further discussion.

See, this is the problem with you idiots. Good God, ICE wants to do the following:

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. If you break the law and you’re in state custody, explain to me why the HELL we don’t require the states the same extradition responsibilities that they exercise with other states…

There is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the states cooperating with the Feds to detain and kick out an illegal alien accused of other crimes. They don’t have the right to be here in the first place and the fact that the State arrested them for a crime should tell us a lot about that person, in that, we don’t need that person here.

Instead, we have fuckwits from California actively fighting the deportation of criminals and it’s as transparent as it gets. In Houston, Liberal shitbags release illegals every day so they can go out and do more harm. More drinking and driving. More robbery. More gang activity. More theft. It takes an anti-American twit to advocate for criminal illegals.

Oh, and by the way, coming to this country might be a misdemeanor but here’s the fun part. They don’t STOP breaking the laws once they get here. Want to work? If they’re working without paying taxes, they’re guilty of a crime. If they work and pay taxes under a false SSN, they’re committing a crime. Driving without a license. Crime. Driving without insurance. Crime. . . the list goes on and on so let’s not pretend these are just law abiding citizens that broke one silly law…

If they change the laws, then by all means. But TODAY, Sanctuary cities are acting in accordance with the constitution.

NOPE.

Section 8
To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

This binds the states to respect the Federal law. Try again.

The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.

This was the only authority over immigration given to the states.

Then, they lay out the requirement for extradition between the states… is there any question whether or not this applied to the Federal laws as well?

Article IV - The States

Section 1 - Each State to Honor all others

Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.

Section 2 - State citizens, Extradition

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.

From immigrants to deported illegal alien.

Why is it the leftists support people walking across the border and making them all citizens who millions wait for the opportunity to enter the US legally???

Why is it you support people who break our laws and not support people who are honorable and want ti enter the US legally.

I suspect you have a nefarious agenda that you would like to implement to ensure power forever.

Sanctuary cities are acting in accordance with the constitution?

how so?

To liberals they are not illegal immigrants, they are unregistered Democrats.

They are giving material aid and comfort to federal fugitives and the leaders responsible should be arrested, charged, and convicted.

Republicans screwed the pooch when they didn’t cut off all federal funds to sanctuary cities and states as well while holding both houses of congress.

Just another great example of how the GOP and conservative are not the same.

Simple, they are counting on creating a permanent underclass of newly arrived “citizens” through amnesty, making them dependent on gov’t handouts, housing, healthcare etc and through the combination of all of the above ensuring a permanent voting block of same to take and hold power permanently in the US.

Of course, the democrats have gone so far left they are alienating most of the Hispanics and Latino’s with the pro gay and anti Christian rhetoric and positions so even if they succeed in the former odds are they’ll never succeed in the latter.

Latinos/Hispanics are about 80% Catholic and 15-20% Evangelical and will never support most of what the left stands for today.

Those coming from Mexico, Central AM and the Norther Triangle Countries also tend to overwhelmingly have a great sense of self, work ethic, and pride in being able to provide for themselves so welfare isn’t that big of an incentive to them, they’d rather have jobs.

The dems have pretty much alienated middle class America as well as Blacks so it’s onward and upward to build a new majority.
